This was some of the best food I’ve had in a while. Thanks for organizing this great event on a sunny day — it felt like a summer kickoff party!

Great venue! Tasty food and great drinks! I am not normally a fan of Campari, but that punch was so good I had to double up on it! Totally enjoyed the RCK original sandwich too. Brava Evelyn!!!

Wooo! Thanks for another great event Evelyn! When I first got here I was dying of heat. I didn’t think I was going to stay too long but I ended up staying until the very end. The space was very small but it worked. I really enjoyed my time at Rose City Kitchen. :) It was nice they were able to have a little space for a patio with a rail to set your drinks down. As for the staff, the two girls behind the counter were very nice and helpful! A plus for them! I had the RCK pita. I ordered it with steak. It was delicious! It was the best pita I’ve tried and actually the only one that I’ve tried that I liked! I had a salad with chick peas(I believe) and it was good! I REALLY loved the Rose wine that was chilled in ice. It has become my new obsession. It was just perfect for such a hot, sunny day. I couldn’t have asked for anything better. Vlad and I had a nice time chatting with Emma, Itanni, and some of the other Toronto Unilocalers we hadn’t met before. Thanks again Evelyn for an awesome time. Toronto has so much to offer!

Great time was had at the Rosie Patio Party last weekend. I tried the Greek pita and Moroccan salad both and were delicious. Next time I’m wandering around Queen and Spadina, I will definitely drop in to try some of the other pitas. Great pink Campari cocktails and people watching from the sunny patio as well! Good party and good people – thanks RCK!

No better place to be on a sunny Saturday afternoon than the patio at RCK for some snacks, cold bevys and people watching. And finally, a YEE where the weather gods were finally kind to us! I tried the RCK original sandwich with halloumi as my protein with a side of the tabouleh salad. Really good stuff and a nice healthy option nestled amongst the burger shops. Evelyn’s Campari punch and choice of rose wines were perfect sips for the hot weather. Really glad to have had the chance to check out the food at RCK and bask in the sun with fellow Unilocalers.

Things were definitely looking quite Rosie Saturday. Couldn’t beat the awesome Evelyn made Cocktails, and some really smoking food coming out of Kitchen. We all got a little sun and a little fun. No better way to RoCK a mid-day on a weekend.

Nice to see Unilocalers during the sunlight! The food was delicious at Rose City Kitchen, I’ll definitely be back again. Try the Moroccan salad! A+ x 10!

Enjoyed this smaller event. It was a pretty toasty day and the small patio offered no shade from the sun, so it was either roast outside or bake inside the storefront. However, Campari cocktails were cooling and pretty good patio drink and, as always, the crowd was fun and friendly. I must say, this was my first time at Rose City Kitchen despite passing by it often in my sojourns around the city. To be honest, I thought ‘Rose City’ was swagger-jacking Portland’s nickname(I am a west coast boy afterall) but it’s actually named after Petra(according to the wall mural) and does Mediterranean inspired snacks. I grabbed the RCK Original sandwich(which is a half pita) and Moroccan salad and both were pretty damned tasty. The sandwich is a tad small, but it’s solid value considering it’s only $ 5 at regular price. Good for a small snack and the right price point to grab two if you want a meal. Think more along the lines of taco/bao portions than your typical Middle Eastern sandwiches. Overall, fun event. Big thanks to Evelyn(who was playing double duty as hostesses and bartender!) and the folks at Rose City Kitchen.
