Great Salon, Fantastic quality, Philip the owner is the best. Craig and Ahmad also I hear are excellent stylists. I never booked an appointment with any of them I really should have I did it spur of the moment as it were. I really needed a cut and it was time again to go blonde sometimes I dye it other times I go with blonde highlights. I wound up with a woman named Avery who works freelance meaning she is not employed by the salon. What a mistake having her color my hair. The cut was the best part of the experience Avery was friendly at first but was asking me way to many personal questions on my first visit and I was trying to be polite and not show my real side oh, my mistake. The usual stuff what do you do for a living which is unnecessary but she had to go deeper with it very noisy. She never really got over my name I should have used the English version of Pierre which is Peter she asked me where I’m from what’s my last name, do I speak French on and on and on. I am still trying to be polite so she does a good job with my precious hair so I keep my comments that I what to say to myself. Thank God there was another man in the salon getting a cut so we were able to talk about hockey and politics. Avery
completely misunderstood me simply because I made the mistake of sharing some bad experiences with hair colorists. So I want blonde highlights like Rod Stewart and the same cut
I am his biggest fan since the seventies. She did not go with yellow blonde she went with a rusty, copper light brownish color which I know from coloring my hair for thirty years is technically dark blonde but not what I what which is all that matters right? First time in thirty years I was not put under the dryer I had a bad feeling about this. I hated it, I told her right away I thought it would be more yellow blonde. So I know from experience tomorrow they have to correct it if your not happy as long as you don’t wait to long. The next day I call her she does not answer which I didn’t like because she was working in the salon I leave two messages and she asked me for my number on my visit, but never called to see if I was happy. Upon my arrival she was extremely defensive, she even said to me DON’T TELL ME HOW TO DO MY JOB. Can you believe that?. So unprofessional in thirty tears I have never heard that attitude from a stylist and then she had the gall to say your being PICKY hello I’m paying you and it’s my bloody hair of course I’m picky is she from the planet Earth. Second round of highlights was exactly what I wanted sexy blonde Rod Stewart style highlights I was happy. I’m not saying she’s all that bad just not my type of hair stylist Avery is a complete control freak and I’m a Taurus so we’ll play nice but look out for the worst temper in the zodiac (The peaceful cow will turn into the raging bull) but I ‘m a professional business man I own and operate my own multimedia, publishing company for the last fifteen years so I know how to handle people. She even asked if I live of my own lol weird way to put it. One more thing she actually thought that in the 1970’s there were only 6 hockey teams in the NHL there were 18 at the time Habs have the record of the most Stanley Cups at 24 more that any sports team franchise in any professional sport and she say’s she’s Canadian from Newfoundland they love the Montréal Canadians down there bye, but they hate the French lol.

I have a usual stylist at another salon who was unavailable today, so I tried my luck with another stylist at the same other salon — who butchered my hair. BUTCHERED.
ENTER SALON ONE! Ahmad was very prompt to serve me and did a great job at fixing the mess left by another stylist. He was friendly, attentive and paid great attention to detail. He also offered a very reasonable price for this «touch up» job compared to a full cut (which I am sure would also be well worth the cost.)
