A number of my friends have settled down, started to get fruitful and multiply. This is my go-to store for gifts for kids. There’s a myriad of bright coloured quality toys at this store. Items are conveniently organized by age range which does make gift shopping a whole lot easier. The staff go out of their way to help and even gift wrap purchases for free. A great store. Period.

Is there a better children’s toy store in the city? No Products are unique, smart, quality, conscious(no sweat shop, renewable wood, educational, handmade, etc) and fantastically priced. I would never shop anywhere else for my family. Period.

A cool toy store with some neat developmental toys. Lots of plan toys, Melissa and Doug, playmobil, Corolle dolls, games and puzzles. As an occupational therapist working with children with special needs I found some toys here that I have not seen anywhere else. Usually full of kids who seem to be having fun. A true of sign of a good toy store!

I was won over by this place when I realized they sold solar system mobiles, ones that ROTATE. I always wanted one of those when I was a kid… and now I’m an adult with a job and I can buy one! TAKETHAT Mom and Dad! It’s a kind of pricey store, but it’s full of fun stuff, great books, and really cool details(dew drop lighting throughout the store, marbles under the cash counter). Oh, and it’s not just for girls. There are plenty of boy-toys too.

Scooter Girl is a funky little toy shop. Don’t let the name fool you, it’s a good place to get neat toys for little(and perhaps bigger) boys too, such as kits that let you turn old pop cans into robots. They have a fair amount of toys of quasi-educational value that you might find at the Science Centre gift shop, such as those pin rack things that you can make impressions of our face with. They have other kid-related stuff at Scooter Girl too, like books and stickers, and even fake tattoos. A friend pulled me in here lately to pick up some Ghost Pirate stickers to send out as Halloween cards, so it looks like they have all the genres covered.
