Best location run by a wonderful staff! Got a small hot chocolate and a brownie and they were both delicious. Friendly and fast service and the location has been recently renovated! It’s gorgeous! If I’m in the commerce court it is a great quick spot to grab a cup on the way to work. Keep up the good work Gemma and Kartik!

I normally don’t review large chain businesses such as this one but I felt this particular location deserved some recognition. It’s slim pickings when it comes to indie coffee shops(especially ones that are open at 6AM!!) in the financial district, so when I am on my way to work I stop in at the closest store with the shortest line — which usually ends up being a large corporation like this one. This Second Cup is located in the PATH of Commerce Court(near the Coles and the Food Court). Designed to meet the needs of the«on the go» customers, the store itself is small in size and there is no space to sit. Line ups are sometimes discouragingly long but move fairly quickly. The staff members are very friendly and efficient. They get to know their customers without being too invasive, and they always have orders ready for their regular patrons. The baristas here always make a consistently good moccacino(even though it should be pretty consistent throughout the chain of coffee shops — I’ve had experiences of bad tasting mochas before). Overall, I am a fan of this particular location because the staff members know their coffee and they always exhibit good customer service and quality products.
