Staff taking orders in such a rush they mess up my order… Which I only find out 10 mins after watching the barista mess up my drink twice … Which she claims ‘someone must have taken’ Then to complete her customer service the barista then speaks to her coworker and makes me go BACK to the line to pay the extra $ 0.63 cents for the mistake they have made What a joke where do they find these people? Never thought I would find such horrible people working at a coffee place as all my past experiences at many other coffee houses have been great. Tip — save your money for a Timmy’s or other coffee place in the hospital.

The lineups are always long but the staff appear to be working at top speed. Be prepared for hospital emergencies to take place nearby — there are plenty of patients and hospital staff walking around so it’s nearly always crowded. I like that they have a variety of flavors to chose from too. Definitely full service. That being said, I’d chose this over TH any day of the week. Bonus points for not being cheap with Splenda packets. Using one or two of these in your coffee will cancel out all the calories in the massive brownies and cookies you can buy here ;-)

Found in the M Wing of Sunnybrook, this Second Cup satisfies all your caffeine cravings while at the hospital. If you’re in the hospital early, you’ll find a lot to choose from — from muffins to cookies to pieces of cake. As many people come in and out of the hospital, by the afternoon, most items are already sold. Coffee, however, is available all the time. The service could be slightly faster as sometimes I feel that I’m waiting too long for just a cup of java. Grab a cup of coffee, sit in the dining area and people watch. This place is a-ok.
