Horrendous experience! I purchased a Groupon for 6 microdermabrasion treatments for $ 159. I booked my first session on October 6^th. I arrived for my 11am appointment and waited almost 30 minutes for staff to arrive and open up the store. Upon arrival the woman was friendly enough and did a good treatment but never apologized for being late.
I scheduled my second session for October 27^th at 11am. I arrived about 10 minutes early and was waiting outside on the sidewalk. This is where I remained for the next hour! I called several times however there was no answer. I left several messages. An hour later I left, leaving another voicemail and note on the door advising that I had waited for an hour and noone arrived. The next day I received a brief voice mail for a man saying «oh sorry».
I chose not to call back at that time as quite honestly I was really annoyed. My first appointment they were half hour late and my second appointment no one showed up at all! I felt the «oh sorry» voicemail was inadequate. I never received a follow up call from the spa. I would have expected them to make a greater effort to follow up with a customer that they simply never showed for to honor a scheduled appointment.
I called today (March 26) to rebook. A bit of time has passed and I thought that I would return as they are very conveniently located to my home and after all I paid $ 159 and only received 1 of the treatments (30 minutes late but at least they showed up that time!). I was advised that my package had expired! I explained that I had not used the package due to them not showing up for my appointment, I advised that the fact that I was quite annoyed following my October 27 appointment where I left standing on the sidewalk for an hour. I suggested that they should honor the package due to their bad service practices. The man became incredibly argumentative with me, took no responsibility for their poor service and said no. This place has incredibly unprofessional business practices. I had found them as a result of a Groupon purchase so I guess they figured that I had paid the money already so they had no investment in resolving the issue.
I would certainly NOT recommend them. If you do choose to go there do not pay in advance. Do not expect them to show up on time or well, maybe just don’t expect them to show up. And if there is an issue that you bring up you can expect a defensive response and to be yelled at on the phone. Good luck in establishing your business!

I purchased a Groupon for six 45 minute microdermabrasion treatments at Sheen Day Spa. Two weeks later I called to book an appointment and the guy at the spa asked if I had a Groupon and if so, which one. I told him the six treatment package and he booked my first appointment. Three days later I went for that appointment and was ushered in by the same man from the phone. He didn’t mention anything either time about an issue with the Groupon.
My treatment was very nice and the esthetician spent nearly an hour and a half on my face and even gave me a hand massage. It was a comfortable and relaxing room and treatment.
However, I am totally turned off the spa by what occurred next. I presented the Groupon to the man at the counter and was told that the Groupon was cancelled and I needed to pay for my appointment. They said I must have booked back in March and they no longer were offering the 6 package and it had been offered for too long. They told me I could just call Groupon and ask for a refund and they would charge me the same price as the Groupon for this one appointment. They were repeating this when I had a confused look on my face. I know Groupon is good for this kind of thing so I wasn’t too concerned. However, this business practice really left a bad taste with me. They charged me $ 30 which is a good deal, especially for the time the esthetician spent with me. But feeling like they pulled a bait & switch on me really rubs me the wrong way. And at with 6 treatments at $ 159 — each appointment should be less than $ 30.
When I called Groupon to cancel the rep was really surprised because I had only bought the Groupon 2 weeks prior AND they had not cancelled the offer with Groupon. The 6 appointment offer is still available online! Apparently the rep was going to escalate the issue.
Sheen gave me a couple of coupons before I left for $ 50 off future treatments of $ 100+. But I can’t trust any offers they have. I don’t believe they wouldn’t change it at the time I got to the cash.
Not a good impression. If they kept the offer, I would have been there once a month over the next six months and would have established a long term relationship with the spa. But I am not going to go back.

I’ve been here twice now for eyebrow threading. it’s very clean, beautiful, well laid out and the esthetician is really nice. The only issue is… I don’t think she has a lot of experience with threading :(both times I had a lot of hair remaining that I had to pluck myself and this last time it looks like some skin has been removed and not the hair. My eyebrow is red and hurting… and it’s been 1 week! I do have sensitive skin but I’ve been threading for 10 years and never had this happen to me :(I really want to like this place, she’s sooooo nice, thoughtful and kind :(I think she needs a bit more experience. I will be giving her one more chance… but maybe I will try her waxing.
