St Clair Ice Cream Factory Outlet

Found this neighborhood gem on our first day of visiting Toronto. There was a variety of flavors to choose from, and the girl behind the counter was very patient with us.
Then when my friend ordered ONE scoop of the tiger flavor, we were presented with a massive bowl of ice cream, all for 3.50 CAD. We couldn’t believe what a steal this was. The ice cream was creamy, and the tiger flavor was unique to us Americans (but apparently not to Canadians?) The amount of ice cream you get for the price is EXTREMELY worth it.
When we passed by here again later at night, it was pretty full with customers enjoying huge bowls of ice cream.

Must-​have ice cream. The parlour is located on a block where many stores aside from itself have gone out of business or are for lease. This store has a simple sign outside and coming back from the Scarborough bluffs it was enough to catch my eye. We parked across the street and went into a fairly busy store. The atmosphere has a bare bones type of feel to it with not much in the way of storage décor. The store offers ice creams, sorbets, sherbets and frozen yogurts. I opted for the peace yogurt while my friend opted for the lemon sherbet. We got bowls and by far, the scoops were amazingly large. You may think that bigger just means more waste, but no! Perhaps it was the heat, but we thoroughly enjoyed our frozen treats and completely finished them off. The staff is very patient and attentive, which is a great thing to see. No half-​bored teenager or slacking adults. No, these was customer-​focused ice cream personnel! I hope more people will go and give this place their business. In an area where stores are becoming remnants of their bygone days, I think this one may be a happy place for all to maintain.

This place isn’t much to look at when you drive by or go in but they’ve got the goods. Ice cream is standard, yummy ice cream but what gives them 5 stars is the size of the scoops, service and price.
Each scoop of ice cream is massive. It’s hard to understand by reading a review, you really have to give it a try to see what I’m saying. It’s great!
