St Jamestown Community Church

If you’re looking for a grand church with magnificent stained glass windows and ethereal statutes — this probably isn’t your grande non-​fat frappucino. But if you’re looking for a small loving congregation that genuinely believes in Jesus, community and helping others — this is your cup of humble unsweetened tea.
The folks at St Jamestown don’t dress up for Sunday mornings. They come as they are. And they aren’t looking to put in their one hour a week and then duck. They will often sing, pray, preach and love for 3 – 5 hours! And there are multiple services a day for those that want more spirituality in their life.
The pastor is a fatherly type with tonnes of passion, spirit, and a lovely voice. He will often play guitar while singing praise songs. The songs are put up on a overhead so that church members can sing and clap along. There’s a good amount of dancing and spontaneous «Halleluja-​ing».
