Friendly staff. Very helpful when asking for product searches. My associate was really knowledgeable when I asked questions about buying the Samsung Tab 410.1. We shared a laugh about a 9h hardness liquid case and they easily installed our screen protector for us. I gave this store a 4 only because I went in the store to buy the samsung tab in white and they only had it in black. Besides that everything was great. Luckily my partner got it in black because I’m that nice. Ha! Happy birthday. .merry Christmas. .valentine’s and everything to you. :p

I can definitely agree with other reviewers on lack of helpful staff here. I called ahead to make sure they had what I needed in stock(raffle tickets). Upon arriving, GHOSTTOWN. No floor staff to be found and employees behind counters seemed disinterested and avoided eye contact. One guy walked right past me on the floor and didn’t ask if I needed anything, I had to specifically walk after him and ask where the item was. As an added note, I used to work in retail and hated when customers would ask me where something was when they could have looked up for the aisle signs so when I’m shopping, I do my best to find what I need on my own before asking an employee. On this occasion, I was wandering up and down the aisles in plain sight for several minutes before asking for help and was given a general idea of where it is. Maybe it’s just me, but when I worked CSR/retail, you walked the customer over to the item unless it was crazy busy in which case you got a co-worker to do it, and it’s not like it was crazy busy. Cashier was friendly though. :)

Only come here if you know exactly what you want and where it is in the store. There is no assistance of any kind here– the only employee I could find was the one cashier in the front despite making several trips around the store looking for a label maker. Total ghost town, where are the employees here?!

That was easy? Yeah right! What is not easy here is finding anyone to wait on you. After two visits, where I encountered a long line at the one open register and many wasted minutes looking for someone to help me, I realized that Staples is the same everywhere. If you know exactly what you need and need nothing from Staples staff(including a smile), you might do fine shopping here. However, if you want an experience that is better than Wal Mart, this is not it! With a major overhaul on customer service, this place could set itself apart. For now, it is good for people who do not need service and who don’t mind spending a bit more to avoid Wal Mart.

This Staples routinely displays goods they don’t actually have in stock. I went to buy a family version of Office for Macs and was pleased to find a whole row of them ostensibly available for purchase, only to bring one to the cash where a stock boy sent to retrieve one from the back told me there weren’t any left in stock(after first bringing me the wrong one). The same thing happened again this week, when I went to purchase a portable hard drive. Despite having many on display, none were actually available to buy — which I only found out after waiting a good 10 minutes while the entire rest of the line was served. I suppose in the end it worked out, because I just walked across the parking lot to Future Shop and bought a better hard drive for twenty bucks less. Lesson learned: only buy office supplies here, not any kind of technology.
