I’m very picky about jewellery, so my boyfriend and I decided it would be best that I choose a ring myself. I spent weeks searching for the perfect ring, and finally found an antique eternity ring from Paris that I totally fell in love with. It needed resizing and some of the stones needed resetting. Aram did the work, and actually reset every one of the diamonds, all in one day. Only problem is, the new settings are much larger than the old, they’re blobby looking, and all uneven, with different shapes. The ring is barely recognizable, and has lost all of its charm. Now we’re having to go to the trouble, and much greater expense, of trying to find someone to undo his work, and restore the ring. I just hope it can be done, and that it won’t end up costing too much. This was beyond disappointing — at the risk of sounding melodramatic, I’m heartbroken.
If you have a simple repair job, or a ring with a plain metal band that needs resizing, you might be fine with this guy. For anything more complicated, I would recommend going elsewhere.

I’m so happy with the service Aram gave us for re-​sizing my 1920s antique diamond ring.
The ring is a very delicate filigree made of 18k white gold. It was MUCH too small for me, a 3.5. I needed him to re-​size it considerably, up to a 5.5. When he saw my ring, he immediately remarked on it’s quality and age. He had to add gold to it to increase it’s size and offered to do it all while I watched as it would take only about an hour. I opted to leave and get a tea, and when i came back it fit perfectly and was beautiful and shiny!
Aram was knowledgable and friendly. The service was fast and the quality was great! I’ll definitely use Aram/​Strada again when I need my jewellery repaired or sized.
He did mention that his lease was finished at the end of Dec. 2014. But that he can still be contacted via email and phone until he gets a new location.

AMAZING! I brought Aram my fiancé’s grandmothers old engagement ring and wedding band to re-​size and he did so much more than that! The wedding ring and band look good as new, so shiny and beautiful! He did such a great job and told me everything that he would be doing to fix the ring. I can’t even believe my eyes.
