Studio 180

Just the sort of place Toronto does NOT need. Overpriced, obnoxious staff, mediocre haircut. Gave my e-​mail address at some point (my mistake). Have since e-​mailed them five times to remove me from list, then even called and spoke to receptionist, and I still get spammed. Hope they go out of business and lose their e-​mail account soon.

I was initially going to get my hair done at Civello today, but what prompted me to try Studio 180 was the fabulous promotional offer I received in the mail, which was a 35% discount towards any service for first time clients and of course, the stellar reviews from Unilocalers!
Natasha, the receptionist was extremely warm and friendly and booking was easy. When I entered the clean, sleek, salon, she greeted me with a big smile on her face and offered me coffee, tea, or water. A variety of magazines were displayed and there was house music playing, but it wasn’t too loud.
Siblings Marco and Mona own and operate the salon. There are only 3 stylists that work here, which is nice, as this salon has a great boutique studio feel to it without the hustle and bustle of a place like Toni & Guy, but with the same level of skill. The focus here is on a high level of attentiveness and excellent customer service. Marco was my stylist and he was knowledgeable and gave me some great analogies when describing what was going on with my hair. Michelle gave me an excellent head massage and was very pleasant and friendly. Prices are reasonable, as well.
Everyone loves getting exactly what they had in mind for their hair when leaving a salon and that’s how I felt. I highly recommend Studio 180!

Great place. The staff is very friendly and do a very professional job at reasonable prices. They are very knowledgeable on new styles and perform some very difficult tasks. I saw them do hair extensions on a friend and it was a very long process but came out great. My friend was very pleased with the outcome and with the price. I would defiantly recommend this salon to anyone needing a great place to have there hair done, right.
