On previous visits to this location, I was pleased by the customer service, as they took a quick look at one of my Swiss watches and provided some valuable information. More recently, there appears to be a move by Swatch group and its related companies to consolidate their business and jack the prices by making parts and repair services simply unavailable except by paying nosebleed prices. They appear be adopting a monopolistic approach, in the same vein as certain US drug companies. I recently asked this service location to provide a quote on fixing a watch that had stopped and they came back with a price of nearly a thousand dollars ! The watch is only worth $ 500 to $ 600 ! Does this make any sense? Since that time I took the watch to private watchsmith who fixed it for me in 5 minutes, at a fraction of the price quoted by these pirates. Somebody please report these bandits to the Federal Competition Bureau. They need it.

Beware. This service centre is as bad as a sleazy car mechanic. When the battery on my Tissot Quadrato died, I thought there was no better place to go than the Canadian Tissot repair centre. After a tech diagnosed the watch it was determined that the movement needed a full service and that«the battery was changed and the watch still was not working.» A lie, a scam. This would have been a $ 300 job had I not brought the watch to Oyster Time for a second opinion where I learned that a battery replacement was all I needed to get the watch going again. Do not bring your watch here, ever. Find a watchmaker in town that you know and trust and stick with them.

Excellent Customer Service! You are greeted by a receptionist who is very courteous and knowledgeable on the protocols on watch repairs. The watches i have taken in are both Rado and CK. The technicians are amazing and skilled at what they do. When you walk in you can see right through a window at how hard and diligent the technicians are working. Its much better than sitting in a place looking at bare walls for 20 minutes. They come out quickly to great you, assess your watch and tell you exactly how long it will take to fix it. Swatch Group really knows quality and how to care for there customers. From the secretary to the lab technicians on site, this place is first class in service. The only drawback is that they will only deal with watches that Swatch Group distributes, even if you just need a battery change for another brand.

This is the only official place in Canada to get your Omega* repaired. It’s pretty much an office/drop-off area open 9 – 4 Tuesday through Friday. They require a few days to work on the watch, and they let you know when you can pick it up on the spot. They do a great job with the repairs involving everything from mechanical to strap and aesthetic issues. — — - *I’m sure that includes other major Swiss watch brands as well.
