The Bagel Stop provides a pretty decent bagel, and is a good alternative if you’re sick of grabbing Tim Hortons every morning — as I was, after 2 months of working nearby in the MaRS building. My only pet peeve is that they don’t apply the cream cheese to both sides of the bagel. Y U NOPUTCREAMCHEESEONBOTHSIDES!!! I can’t possibly be the only person who doesn’t eat their bagel and lox like a sandwich — instead, I like to pull it apart and eat both slices open-faced. If there’s only cream cheese on one side of the bagel, the other side is just bone dry and sad. Oh, well. At least the lox is fresh(and never dried out) every time. Other than that, the people that work there are very nice. They’ve always been super polite, and I’ve noticed that they’re quite accommodating to the lonely hospital patients that come by in the mornings and talk their ears off.
