The Body Shop was in The Village 20 years ago when I moved here and now it’s good to see it back.
The staff is generally rather great. Maybe too great in that their zealousness can come off as clingy. I’ll ask if I need help and I almost always need help. Also the men’s line was not apparent when I walked in.
The big thing that surprised me is their seemingly move away from «the earth». Many of their scrubs contain Micro Beads. They are non biodegradable and form plastic islands in our lakes. Very bad for septic systems too. TIP: always ask about micro beads and other non-biodegradable elements before you buy.
Still love having them back in the hood.
