Friendly staff and excellent service! Not to mention, great haircuts. The grooming lounge is beautiful and I love their commitment to locally-​source and environmentally friendly products.

I have been a patron of The Business since it was opened and have really come to appreciate the professionalism of the staff and owner Kim!
This is a place for guys to get most, if not, all of their grooming needs met from Facials, Pedicures, Massage, Straight Razor Shaves and many more!
The staff is friendly and professional and Kim has taken great care in selecting just the right expertise in her employees but also their personalities!
I always like to give a new business in my area a chance as it can be a tremendous effort to succeed and flourish! Well once has not been enough and I have enjoyed many of the services offered and would Highly recommend this establishment!

Saw the reviews for this place on Unilocal as I was nearby waiting for a massage. I had a date with my lady Saturday night and wanted to look my best so I tried to squeeze in a haircut in 25 minutes. I felt bad walking in and saying, «You have 25 minutes to cut my hair, please do a good job», and if they would have said, not possible, come back in a bit, I would have understood.
Not my man Al, that guy was totally up to the challenge and cut my hair with precision and most importantly speed — and got me pretty much the hair cut I was looking for, and at the very least made me look less like a slack-​jawed yokel and more like a well put together gent. They might have been a little too ambitious as the cut ended up taking about 40 minutes after washing, but that’s not their fault for being professional and thorough, that’s my fault for giving them an unrealistic time frame.
The Business offers all sorts of services just for men, including straight razor shaves, massage (both RMT and none) as well as an assortment of aesthetician services like nails and waxing. For the well polished man, I believe this is your spot on the Kingsway.
The place is only a year old and has a great location near Royal York and Bloor, easily accessible on the TTC (bus and train) and has ample paid parking on both the street and surrounding Green P lots (plus there is a cigar shop around the corner).
The price of the cut came to around $ 40 which is about what I pay at my regular spot. So will I change based on price and service, maybe, maybe not. Presently, I’m undecided BUT I will be back for sure to try some of their man-​specific services in the not too distant future.

I called to make an appointment for a few hours in advance and was happily accommodated. The owner, Kim, is very sweet and great to talk to! Absolute sweetheart if I’m honest.
The woman who cut my hair listened to what I wanted and asked my opinion on anything she wanted to add, which turned out great! I was very happy with the cut!
On my way out I had another great chat with Kim! I was delighted with the service!
I’ve unfortunately only been able to go once as I’ve needed to leave Toronto for a few months but when I get back I will be returning to The Business for more quality service :)

Just wanted to say what a great experience I had at «The Business». First the décor is stunning clean and modern. My barber Chris was amazing. Followed instructions and was a master with the straight blade doing all the details old school! The hot towel and the scalp massage were just the icing on the cake! Great experience and great atmosphere. If anyone is in the Bloor West area you should give these guys a look… you will love it!

Unfortunately, this place wins my award for my worst ever haircut. The receptionist was very sweet, the place is fairly new and clean, but otherwise, it gives off an amateur hour impression. The hair cutter was a little rough around the edges and had a very strong smokey odour. Even though I expressed what I wanted clearly with my cut, he quickly cut it and then said, I thought you would be better off with this cut — it was really terrible, my friends and family agreed. I will never return.

Location is clean, neat and open.
Service is great, specially because the owner Kim is who is taking care of most of the appointments.
The guy who did the shave for my husband was also very professional as it was the one who did his massage.
He loved both services.

This is my first time here since this placed open over one month ago. I was very impressed with how clean this place is, the space is bright, spacious, and they offer a variety of services. They are centrally located right on a main street, with plenty of pay-​and-​display parking in the back. The main entrance is all glass which allows for lots of natural sun light to shine in. A private entrance at the back is available for easy access to the parking lot, and to add just a touch of extra value and service.
The Staff is supper friendly, well knowledgeable, highly trained, and offer you a nice selection of natural and organic products for treating your scalp and hair, to shaving soaps, to great brushes for shaving and for your hair. A nice selection of classic products is also available.
This place is a really great place to come to relax and get pampered in a very manly and male oriented atmosphere. The services offered will take care of you from head to toe, with a focus on natural products and treatments to keep you looking your best while staying healthy. I highly recommend this place guys! A great place for a guy to get pampered and groomed.
