As a production coordinator who is currently working on a documentary series, I am always getting new requests sent to me on the fly… This time; we got an interview we didn’t think we were going to get and they need cash… in Israel. ASAP… So we looked up Western Union and I trucked to The Cash Store on Queen street (just west of Spadina)
Now I can only speak on a sending money sense but the people at the cash store (besides the fact that it isn’t a happening place and can get quite bored) were lovely and extremely helpful. They took care of everything and the money was in Israel in 15 minutes.
If you ever have the urge to send money or perhaps receive it, or if you need a loan, I would go chat with the folks there. lovely and helpful.
