I’ve been meaning to check out this place for a while and finally got the chance back in July 2015. I was invited to a media event hosted here for the Argos and the cheerleaders. Can’t complain about free drinks and cake pops I got. Heh heh. While the event was fun, the event space itself was pretty small. It got super crowded after 10pm(when they opened for public) and I could barely move. Only have a few booths and stools. They also have a pool table in the back and some cool monopoly themed art on the wall. When I left, there was a huge lineup and they started charging cover. Overall, it was okay but noise of crowd got louder then the music. Lol

First time going to this club. Went on a Friday and made sure to be on guest list which was $ 10 cover before 11. Made it with 5 min to spare! The bouncer Jack and Phil were nice and chill. And the lady who was handing out the tickets didn’t wait until after guest list ended, she was prompt and we got in quick :) It was pretty empty when we first got there but what can you expect going at 11? There were booths being filled and the bartender was quick and efficient. Music was a mix of top 40, old school and 00s which was great. DJ knew what he was doing. Drinks were decently priced. About 3 mixed drinks for $ 24 and beers for $ 7. Met some great people there! Really enjoyed the crowd and everyone was chill and respectful which is a nice change from the bars I’m used to. It’s a mature young professional crowd instead of uni kids sloshing drunk. After we left, they provided us each with a bottle of water for free. Now that is some great service! Will definitely be coming back!

I had been here before when it was the century rooms. That was awhile ago so the only thing I can think that has change is that maybe they have extended the rear. I never used to like it back then but now the music and crowd just seem better. It is a fun night out, the staff are friendly although the bouncers will push for the occasional favour if you want to get in really late. United just scored while i was writing this view. Great times.

This places tries to create an air of elitism by rejecting lots of people at the door for loosely interpreted dress code violations or for not being on a guest list. That leads to people groveling to get in, which makes a bunch of shallow people who do go in think they are someplace special. Unfortunately this is no place special. It is just an overcrowded place with overpriced cheap alcohol and some club music. In a city as culturally rich as TO, there are so many better places to go – places with real people, real culture, and real vibes.

Checked out this place for the first time. Mature young professionals crowd. Music was good and the place is pretty clean. Dance floor area is small and drinks are expensive though. On the upside the bouncers and coat check staff here were super friendly!

Awesome club, and amazing music. We had bottle service and the person who coordinated it all, Amanda, made our night flawless. I’m looking forward to party again there for New Year’s Eve!

I had a fantastic time at Everleigh on Friday night. I think their staff really made the night for me. I was hitting the agua… hard. The bartenders were efficient, polite, and anticipated your every need which I completely appreciated. I didn’t even have to ask for a water for my friend, the bartender just had it ready in the blink of an eye. The photographer was polite, and the female bartender near the booths was great too. My friend and I loved the music they were playing(brings me back to my youth LOL circa 2002). It was fantastic. Such a great time overall, and at the end, they handed out water bottles to everyone who was leaving! Such a nice touch. I would not hesitate to go back there again.

I’ve been to Everleigh a few times before this past Saturday. I’ve been to this venue in its Century Room days as well. I don’t usually write reviews but I signed up to be able to write this one! VERY unprofessional employees, and possibly racist attitude has me fuming. I will not be returning here ever again, and neither will a lot of my friends. I doubt that our boycott will harm any financial revenue, but this is more about the attitude we encountered and running-at the end of the day-a BUSINESS in an ethical manner. Prior to this night, I’ve had some very enjoyable nights there. Bartenders usually have some attitude here but honestly, I’m not there to talk to them, so as long as I can get my drink and get back to the dance floor, I am happy. The music is amazing on Saturday nights-good mix of hip hop, top 40, and some good old school jams. The place is normally packed, crowd itself is great, washrooms not so impressive, but you can make do. The space itself is open, so not much bumping into one another. The décor is nice-graffiti inspired too. I’ve never, ever had an issue getting into any place in my 10+ years clubbing including places all over the world when I’ve travelled(or Everleigh for all the other times I’ve been here), but on this night we encountered the most inconsistent, unprofessional employee at the door. I was DD that night so I was well aware of what was happening. We reached the club at around 1am. This is normal for me and my girlfriends and this is the time at which I’ve come here before-no problem then. I went up to short stack, Mr. Roly-Poly in the front with a combover, and a beard and politely asked if he knew how long the line would take. He said 30 – 40 mins. I said thank you and got in line. Mind you — this line is for people WITHOUT a guest list and ever since Century Room days, it has been this way, the same line, on the left of the doors. As I’m standing there with my girlfriend and others trying to get in same as us, he decides to walk up to my part of the line and suddenly asks if people are on guest list and announces this is now an A-list line(does anyone know what that is? This is Toronto buddy, not L.A. LOL) — everyone in this line was looking at each other slightly confused because the Guest list line is on the other side and no one knew what an A-list line was. He didn’t wait for any answers and opened the rope right in front of me and asked me to step out. I didn’t know why he was doing this so I stepped out for a moment. He closed the rope behind me and just left. I got back in line. For the rest of the time we were in line, he kept coming to my section and asking the same question-I would just look at him-and he once said«There’s no point in hiding» because I was standing behind a VERY tall gentleman. I stepped back a bit and said«Yes, I’m right here, not hiding»…at this point he clearly didn’t tell me to step back out because there was nothing I’d really done. As we get to the front, the group ahead of us is asked by him if they are on Guest list. They said no-they got in(?) SO at this time me and my two girl friends and I get to the front. He is there and informs us that we are not getting in but then walks away. We ourselves look Indian/Persian and now we have a group of about 5 African-Canadian persons get in line behind us. They are all buff — great looking bunch, modelesque even. Suddenly Mr. Roly-Poly loses himself and now announces that no one is getting in and that we should all find another venue. HMMMM, now there were too many coloured people in line to even handle on his own and he just really wanted us all to leave. He opened the rope in front of us then and said we are not getting in. There were NO altercations upto this point, we stood in line patiently, and politely. This Mr. Roly-Poly had it in for us from the start. Making up stories about G-list and A-list etc., and confusing people. And the minute there were too many coloured people in line — he just had to somehow find a way to get us all out of there. We were very offended because we could see what had transpired in the 30 mins we were in line. So as I left I asked him if he felt like a bada** doing his $ 10 hour job on the weekend and told him letting people into the club doesn’t require as many brain cells as he thought… his«authority» meant nothing. One of the other bouncers just asked what happened-he could see what had happened but didn’t have much say. But at this point we mouthed off and left because the discrimination was obvious. My birthday happens to be NEXT saturday and I was actually considering getting at least two booths and ton of extra bottles for approx. 35 – 40 people. I was deciding between Muzik and here. Muzik will get my business. We went to Thompson afterwards — not a problem. Disgusted with Everleigh. Will never come back here again. It’s not a 5-star club and they should remember that. Apologies for a lengthy review but this was unacceptable.

This place is a joke. Website said open til 4am on this particular night(a Saturday). Show up at 1am after hitting another bar, waited in line for 15 minutes watching piles of people come out and asked the bouncer(who was a prick) what was up — «we’re waiting for the owners friends to come, they’re priority.» COOL. So you don’t want money or a group of hot girls in your bar? Good to know. Skip this place, lots of options nearby.

My experience with The Everleigh stops at the front door. I organized a bachelorette party and contacted The Everleigh over email to arrange advance entry(i.e. guest list) and was told the guest list and reduced cover closes at 11 pm. I said that was fine as my party of 11 ladies would be arriving at midnight. We get to The Everleigh at midnight to discover a long queue and a separate entrance which was in fact guest list! This was irritating especially after I took care to contact the venue in advance to arrange entry. The bride-to-be was pretty tipsy and we wanted to keep the party going! But the front door staff were uncooperative and dissipated any desire we had to give them our patronage. So much so that I took my party of 11 elsewhere! A top venue should have great clientele relations and should not treat its clientele so poorly.

It’s been ages since I busted a wine lol I went clubbing here on a Friday night with my best friend. We never make it out before guest list, so we end up waiting in line for 5 minutes until the bouncer noticed us and let’s us in. girl perks, Wihoo! Cover was $ 15/person and coat check was $ 3/person. The music was commonly 90s hip hop more or less, so we were jamming. However, getting drinks from this blonde bartender was a piss off. My friend was opening her purse when she got pushed and her money fell out of her purse on to the floor. Now I went to help her, Im getting humped and squished. Let me tell you, I don’t miss that about clubbing at all. The bartender made a rude remark to hurry up and I’m thinking, how about you look for money in the dark, with millions of feet threatening to step on your freshly did nails! Anyway a guy next to me explained that she’s been on edge all night. So the venue is this one big room and has open space with good flow. I wasn’t getting elbowed in the head(little people problems) and actually had room to dance. At the end of the night, it was really nice of them to hand out free water bottles, and they let us stay in the front, before our cab came. Overall your typical club, nothing fancy but a good time if your with good company :)

I came here for my birthday and had an awesome time. The music was a bit lacking on a Friday night and they weren’t busy or at capacity like some clubs on a Friday night. There was lots of seating available actually as not too many people purchased bottler service. The bartenders and staff were really friendly. I would definitely come back again!

I went to The Everleigh last night. I used to go to Century room all the time(the club formerly in that location) and was very impressed with how well the place was redone! I was in a completely different space. Speaking of the space. GREATUSEOFSPACE at The Everleigh. The room was open with a great flow of traffic. The décor was fun and random with graffiti on the walls, and paintings of Rich Uncle Penny Bags(of Monopoly) depicted in various situations. I also liked the DJ booth which has a tunnel of neon lights behind it. There is a moose behind one of the bars that has a thought bubble saying something like«Will do moose things.» written in neon lights — nice touch! :) The music was a bit dated, but I am guessing it was a throwback event. Anyway I was born in the ‘80s so i knew all the songs :) All in had a great time at The Everleigh!

Nice décor. Went on a Friday night — Vintage Friday. I’m probably dating myself but when I read vintage I was thinking it would be 90’s music and older. Music was mostly from 2000 onward but still had a great time dancing. The place was packed. I don’t go clubbing very often anymore and felt like I was totally being jostled and pushed on the dance floor. Drinks were average for the neighbourhood, $ 8 for a vodka soda.

The Everleigh is a decent lounge — situated where Century Room used to be. Upon entering, I was somewhat confused on the concept — whether it was supposed to be a lounge primarily, or a bar, or a dance club. My conclusion is that The Everleigh is somewhere in between all three. The Space: Very spacious — with a lot of features. Besides the booth areas, there are standing tables and couches available to chat on. There is also a full size pool table in the corner; I’m not so sure on the practicality of it during busy nights. I was concerned for bystanders getting their drink knocked out of their hands by a pool cue. The décor was rather intriguing. The Everleigh is very Canadian of a lounge, with artwork, bar decorations and floor tilling all representative of Canada. The Crowd: We arrived on a Saturday night for my friend’s birthday. The space filled up around 12:30 and was starting to pick up energy around then. There was not as much dancing as there was lounging and chatting and drink-buying at the bar. The women outnumbered the men by a large margin. Many bachelorette and birthday parties seemed to be happening that night.

Coming from Miami FL we weren’t sure what to expect from the Toronto night scene. We were pleasantly surprised by Everleigh. A bouncer from a bar down the street recommended this place to us as a lounge that we might want to check out. I would say its more club then lounge but there are couches and a pool table set up on one side giving you the option. The music was great. A good mix of hip hop, pop and some oldies keeping the dance floor packed all night. Good crowd and friendly bartenders.

It’s an odd lounge… very nice art and decorations. I like the layout. Not sure about the crowd. Every time I go there it seems like a different type of clientele. The music is also hit and miss. I like to judge bars /lounges by how many people I see with smiles on their faces. I don’t see that a lot here.
