The Face Shop

For the longest time I would walk by this store and never really payed much attention to it when it initially opened in Scarborough Town Centre.
It has relocated closer to the Sears store on the 2^nd level of the mall. My first impressions after browsing in the store, was that it kind of reminded me of a Body Shop store but focuses primarily on products for the face. I was overwhelmed by the amount of different products for the skin. Masks, cleansers, cleansing oils, BB creams, moisturizers, serums, nailpolish and even foot care products are all here at The Face Shop. The sales staff offer help whenever I enter the store but leave me alone when I am browsing. I have purchased the Honey Black Sugar Scrub and like it a lot. It only costs $ 13.00 dollars. Other products I have used include the nailpolishes and their nailpolish remover (Lovely Me) smells great and is really cheap. I also use the Flebote White Crystal Effect Essence which is marketed to help with brightening the skin.
I don’t see any brightening effects but it does help with hydration and radiance of the skin. If you are not a fan of fragrance in your skin care products this store is not for you, as I find their skincare products have fragrance.
The store has regular sales and promotions and the pricing of the products are very reasonable, compared to skin care products sold at the department stores. I would love to try the sheet masks and plan to go back again soon!

Love this location, have been here a couple of times. Never had a bad experience so far. Usually the workers will approach you and ask if you need help anything, but they don’t bother you, rather ask once then leave you alone if you’re just looking around and whatnot. I like the facemasks, nose porestrips and blotting paper from this brand the most.

In the span of 2 weeks I have bought a third of their products, huge fan!!! They are very nice and go through all the products that may interest you and it’s very affordable.
The mild papaya peeling product is the best exfoliator I have ever used, your dead skin just comes right off!

The store seems to be newly opened and is located beside Suzy Shier where Fruits & Passion used to be. Merchandize stock at the shop as well as price is the same as the other The Face Shop locations at Pacific Mall, Fairview Mall and Eaton Centre. I love that the store is pretty spacious like the Fairview location so I don’t have to worry about being shoved around. After visiting this location as well as the others, I most likely will not be going back to the pacific mall one again. It’s simply way too crowded.
