I talked to the angels, sold my home and bought another one. One of TheRedPin angels was the first person I chatted with when I contacted the company(a friend had recommended the brokerage). I had so many questions and was happy to have them answered without having to talk to a real estate agent at first. Once I was comfortable the angel, based on my profile, put me in touch with an agent who specialized in my area. Everything else felt like normal agent to client relationship with the exception that I was not rushed and that the agent had all the time in the world for me. 5 Star service.

RedPin is not much different than other Realty Brokerages that people are used to seeing like Re/Max, Century21. If you look closely at their commission structure, they are still pocketing tens of thousands of your hard earned equity. Oh yea, and here’s a meagre 15% back to you.(aka«we’ll rob you less») If you’re looking for discount brokerages, there are tons of better ones out there like , 1% Realty, 2% Realty. They all charge less than the RedPin. Just use this as a baseline to negotiate with multiple realtors, I’ve gotten 50−80% rebates depending on the price of the property. In the end, all that matters is the bottomline — what comes out of your pockets. If the place is staged properly, listing on MLS and the market is hot(like yvr or yyz) — it really doesn’t matter who you go with. P. S. These guys are just a knockoff of the famous US discount brokerage RedFin. At least RedFin pays their Realtors a salary. These copycats just use Marketing to hide their STILLVERY ridiculously expensive fees.
