Located on the ground floor at the tiff Bell Lightbox, the tiff shop is your go to place for any tiff related merchandise. For each festival tiff puts out a specific line of clothing and while wearing a tiff festival’12 sweater, tshirt, scarf is probably the «in» thing to wear around town for that week and a half in September, if you’re not in a huge rush you could always wait till after the festival when these merchandise go on sale till up to 50%, and I’ve been very happy with my zip up hoodie and scarf I’ve got from here.
Of course tiff shop has a lot for you to marvel at either for yourself or as a gift for the movie lover in your life, from beautiful coffee table books to great movie references, even classical movie inspired gelaskins for your «i“product along with a small collection of blu rays and dvds. And don’t be surprised if you see some quirky apparels such as mini film camera key chains, mini fully functioning diana camera’s, stationary, the usual souvenier fare such as mugs, keychains etc and if there is an exhibit going on at the lightbox, expect limited time products (such as the Tim Burton and Fellini books they had during those exhibits even Grace Kelly dolls).
If you happen to be a tiff member you’re also eligible for discounts on most of the items in store, some items seem a little bit overpriced but for the most part the tiff shop is a great little accessory the lightbox houses, throw in friendly staff and you’re sure to find the perfect spot for a small gift or to kill time before your movie.
