this location has set the standard for how low a tim hortons is, the location is fairly decent, about a dozen parking spots, and a super long drive-thru. but the service i have received from here is disgusting. this is one of three tim hortons that is on my way to work, without going out of my way, in the past i would stop here first, if the drive thru line up wasn’t to the street, and a couple of occasions, someone would walk up to the drive thru window, with me at the window, and get into verbal arguments with the server on the inside… with swearing back and forth. as well recently, a new hire dumped the yogurt mix into the ice capp machine, so when we order ice capps, we got this awkward combination of coffee and yogurt, then upon going back into the shop to get replacements, the guy who made the drinks argued with us, and no apology was made, we were refunded our money, but this place needs a lesson in service BADLY

When in Rome, err… when in Canada, go to Tim Hortons? Since our B&B wasn’t providing the second B(that’s another story), we decided to go to Tim Hortons on our way to Toronto. It was my first Tim Hortons experience so I was pretty excited(I know I sound lame). Anyway, I got a delicious asiago, sundried tomato bagel and the bf got some coffee and a pastry. When it was time to pay, he asked the cashier if they take USD and the cashier said yes, with no additional explanation. Before I knew it, our CAD $ 8.54 bill turned into a USD $ 10.50 meal. WTF, I asked if we could backtrack and pay in CAD instead because we were not informed of the ridiculous exchange rate but the cashier said it was too late. I know CAD are worth almost 1% more than USD today but they charged a 20% premium to use USD. That is COMPLETELYOUTRAGEOUS and it was unprofessional of the cashier not to tell us the exchange rate before the transaction was processed.(As a caveat, we paid in USD at a handful of other places in the two days before this incident and we were always given a fair exchange rate or USD was accepted at par). That pretty much ruined my Tim Hortons experience. That’s too bad because the food was actually pretty decent.
