Amazing food in spite of the not so good looking place! I’ve tried their beef patty, jerk chicken and ox tail dishes, all were so delicious. Just want to share some pictures so you would know what this restaurant offers there and give them a shot. Definitely worth your money!

It is such a great establishment. The food is some of the best I have ever tried. The staff truly cares about the food they produce and the customer they serve. The patties are amazing. This is one of the best places for real Jamaican West Indian food.

The Good
1. Great Patties
2. They serve a beef soup all week which does come in handy when your sick and you need a little island soup to help cure your self.
3. Great location for travellers (TTC Users) and close to schools and the mall.
The Bad
1. Poor attitude and customer service. I don’t know if its just them or most Jamaican restaurants like this?.
2. They need to renovate and create some seating in there and make it more relevant to the business that they are in. Stop selling $ 5 CD’s and more $ 5 Food Combos.
3. Lack of advertisement to the public.
The Truth
They can be a big business if done right! The are in a dying need of a make over and a complete restoration for there staff. Create and nice sit down environment and advertise to the public who you guys are and what you guys do! Top Taste most diffidently needs a new name and a makeover. The potential is there!!!

This place is frustrating. Yes they retail Michidean patties but the service and décor of the place leaves one feeling frustrated. The location is excellent right of Bloor so why not invest in your business and update the place a little?

Loved it when it was Michideans… been in the area for over 30 yrs!!! Trying to get a patty at this establishment (since the new owners took over or maybe it’s just the one employee) — - has been difficult… tred to get one at lunch… they dont have any… try to buy a box of frozen on Friday after lunch… they dont have any… !!! Sent my co-​wokers… they dont have any!!! The little old man sitting in the corner was eating one… but they dont have any…
