Total Cleanse

Well spank my bum and call it tidy, just finished the Total Cleanse 3 day Refresh Cleanse (
) and I’m feeling squeaky clean.
I was a tad dubious about the whole «juice cleanse» thing and how effective they were, but sitting here on the morning after 3 full days surviving solely on fresh pressed juice I’ve got a host of observations and comments that I think are worth noting.
I had previously summarized these in a talk thread that ironically came about while I was on this cleanse so I’ll pull from that:
1) Day 1 and 2 were difficult, I noticed my energy levels were low, and I had regular headaches (I might attribute this to having no caffeine, something I ingest 1 – 2 times daily)
2) Day 1 and 2 my concentration levels were way off, I couldn’t do much more than watch Netflix
3) I’ve lost 5 – 6 pounds in two days, and I imagine that I’ll lose another 2.5−3 by the end of today
4) Reliance on caffeine by day 3 (today) is diminished. I was able to get up a lot easier and with no headache or grogginess (I can’t fully attribute this to the cleanse as I noticed the same response in my body when I went cold turkey on caffeine back in September)
5) No headache today
6) Drinking a juice every 2 hours is the exact timing my body required to maintain itself. The cleans I am on contains about 1100 – 1200 calories per day, enough to sustain but likely ¹⁄₃ the calories I typically ingest in my day to day « Unilocal diet» ha ha
7) I HATED the green energy juice that I must endure 3 times a day, but it’s essential so I did my best to get it down
8) Post cleanse I’m craving healthier options today, (Egg white and oatmeal this morning for breaky)
9) My taste buds are incredibly sharp this morning — Berries in my oatmeal were almost TOO sweet and normally I’m looking to add sugar or agave syrup
10) You know what you had to endure to make it through this so I’m already planning a better, lower calorie, healthier meal plan moving forward.
Overall I think it accomplished some goals for me personally and helped me to achieve a body reset I was looking for, however I cannot be 100% certain that some of this isn’t coming from cutting certain elements from my diet.

I love this place.
I have done many Juice Detox’s in the past however I’ve never had one that delivers right to your door. Typically, I would make my own juice’s and then treat myself to a Juice Bar a couple times through the cleanse. The first cleanse I did was two years ago. I watched the move «Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead» and was instantly inspired. So I went out, bought a juicer, and completed a 10 day cleanse.
I attempted to do a juice cleanse in March of this year, however for some reason I did not succeed. The reason? I had been given a promotion at work, was extremely busy, had new roommates with conflicting «Kitchen Schedules» and quite frankly didn’t have the time or patience to make the juices myself. I was looking for an alternative where I can continue my life without having the hassle of making the juices myself.
Then I found Total — «We Juice, You Cleanse» was exactly right. Since finding out about Total Cleanse, I have completed two 7 Day Energizer Cleanses and will definitely do another one in the future.
Yes there’s the argument that the price is high however these are high quality juices (Green Energy, Very Berry and Cashew Milk are my favourites) and the convenience alone was worth every penny. The customer service was top-​notch as well. Given my schedule I could not complete something like this on my own anymore — well I could but it’s just another task I would have to deal with in my busy day. Total Cleanse has been a huge help and would recommend this to anyone who has a busy lifestyle and doesn’t want to worry about buying the groceries, bothering roommates, making the juices, cleaning up etc.

Before I jump in, I’m going to qualify this five star review: This is a pricy cleanse, running about $ 150 for three days. This being said, it is everything you need and I deem it worth it. Without them doing all the work for me I would have failed, so I’m A-​OK with the Gwyneth price tag.

In all seriousness, I would recommend Total Cleanse, specifically this cleanse, to anyone who is interested in doing a healthy reset on their insides. The cleanse has roughly 1200 calories and a lot of fruit, so it isn’t for rapid weight loss and you can leave your house and participate in life without feeling fatigued. Did I participate in life outside of my house during the cleanse? Out there where there are all those restaurants and bars? Oh hell no. I have a serious willpower problem, so I stayed inside with all of the screens and screams, but you, dear reader, are probably a stronger person.
The result of is just as they indicate, I feel energized. I’m craving healthy foods instead of crap and I’m probably now a bi-​annual cleanse convert!

I just finished 15 days on the Purify cleanse. At first I had it delivered, which was extremely convenient — except that it is typically delivered late at night (so you have to wait up for it). I then started to pick it up at the location, which was MUCH cheaper to do!
The drinks are fabulous. The creamy cashew milk is definitely my fav. I recommend doing a salt water flush a few times while on the cleanse, so that it’s more effective (or go for colonics).
Each day is approx. 1200 cals, so you ARE getting sufficient cals for the day while cleaning out your system and giving your body a break! I didn’t workout on this cleanse, because I truly wanted my body to focus on healing itself (rather than repairing muscle tissue). I have to say I had just as much or more energy while on this cleanse! Ultimately, I would recommend this cleanse to anyone starting out juicing, for the convenience, quality, and customer service :)
