When you apply to this company, you get an email indicating that it’s okay to call after two weeks if you don’t hear from them. This was a welcome sight since most places don’t let you anywhere near a person on a phone unless they have chosen to deal with you first. I called after three weeks and the was told my resume didn’t come through. After telling them the exact date and time I sent the resume, they found it unopened in their inbox. Fair enough — there’s a lot of applicants out there.
I was invited in for an interview. The office building at Bloor and Spadina is reminiscent of a government institution under going renovation. The TSI office itself is a tiny two room operation with two consultants on duty. The day I arrived — in the pouring rain — the consultant I was booked with didn’t show up for work due to the rain. This was just an overall poor impression, so I didn’t go back.
