Have been seeing Amanda for about 6 months now after a long and exhausting search for a new stylist. From the very first moment I sat down for my my very first appointment with her I felt at ease. She is extremely personable and you can tell she loves what she does. She has been very patient with me as I grow out my hair and I am loving the way it looks even as it grows out! All of the staff are friendly and make you feel comfortable. I highly recommend this salon, and especially Amanda!

Nicole was amazing! I’ve been looking for a new hairstylist for over a year since moving jobs and I was recommended to her from a coworker. She was able to do exactly what I asked for and even out my asymmetrical hair after a haircut gone wrong without making it short. The salon itself is adorable, well decorated and modern, and is such a friendly atmosphere. Prime location too. walking distance to my house!

Amanda always knows what I want. She is a funny and charasmatic stylist and keeps a good conversation going while doing hair, which puts you at ease.
She is amazing at assessing hair shape and texture and matching colours to find the right cut/​colour most flattering for you. I don’t let anyone else touch my hair!

Amanda is my girl. I travel ACROSS the city to have her cut my hair. Seriously, I live in the west end and I’ll commute to this location for her. Now ladies, you understand having the same hairdresser and being comfortable with someone is important. Especially since our hair is such a big part of a lady’s identity. I can honestly sit in her chair and have her cut/​colour/​style my hair and have zero anxiety. Love her! Plus the owner and other stylists are super friendly and there is not pretentious air here! Although the prices are on the upper scale, it’s on par with any other professional salon throughout the GTA. The quality is well worth it. Promise.

The owner brothers opened this second location this past winter (original location at Danforth and Vic Park). I recently had my hair cut here for the first time after a recommendation from a friend. Terry, the owner, was my stylist and did a great job. He was friendly and appropriately talkative (sometimes these can be weird conversations or awkward silences). What I wanted was straightforward and easy enough (bangs and thinning out my huge mass of hair for a lighter summer) but he did it with style and finesse. Not cheap, about $ 75 to $ 80 for wash, blow-​dry and cut with tip, but good and you’d pay this much downtown but don’t have to get there down there. Only small complaint is that I had an appointment and still Had to wait 20 minutes, which isn’t the end of the world (I have a smartphone to keep me busy) but just made me rush for my next appointment. I’ll definitely go back, it’s a great addition to the neighbourhood.
