Uhaul is AWFUL. I reserved a 10′ truck for my mid-​week move-​in date. They sent me an email telling me to pick it up at the Dovercourt location which is nearby.
When I went to get the Truck, the location was deserted; an empty parking lot with NO ONE there. I called the store number because the hours of operation said that the location was open, and some guy answered. The guy was flustered, frazzled and stupid. He didn’t even put me on hold, I heard him ruffling paper and calling customers to return the truck ASAP so that I could get my reservation. He offered me a cube truck or a monster truck and when I agreed, he told me they were in REXDALE. Are you frickin kidding me?!? I live downtown and I’m moving 6 blocks away! And then they wanted me to have it returned in 4 hours? It”ll take me an hour to GET there! What is the point of making reservations if you don’t reserve things Uhaul?! I blame that stupid guy, and ur entire reservation system. U screwed me so hard that day I think I”m pregnantl. I had to make 3 trips because, u know, can’t fit ALL the big furniture in a cube truck, and I was up until 3 am. You’re disorganized and overall crappy Uhaul. Go with Budget or Discount. I totally discourage using their stupid service unless u like having a meltdown. Haaate you guys.
