Upper Village Spa

Best spa I have ever been to hands down. The team is amazing, I feel like I’m visiting family when I go there. For any sugaring go see Toni — she is awesome and makes my eyebrows look perfect. Taylor is amazing with facials and pedicures. Their facials are incredible and their products are amazing — my skin has never looked better. Highly highly recommend, can’t say enough good things.

After having a poor experience at Dove Spa at Yonge & St. Clair, I decided to try Upper Village Spa. I wanted my dead straight Asian eyelashes permed and eyebrows tinted and got nearly NO results at Dove Spa.
Upper Village Spa is a bit small, and the waiting area is practically non-​existent, but the customer service is nice, they greet you warmly & offer you tea while you wait.
If you decide to get your lashes permed, make sure you asked for the rollers & glue, and NOT the ‘clips’. Dove Spa uses the clips and it only took approx. half an hr. Upper Village’s Toni (senior esthetician) took about an hr, which I appreciated because I just think these procedures should take time. And she took her time and made sure everything was perfect.
The bed was warmed and very relaxing. During the perming, however, Toni did try to sell me on other products/​services, but not too aggressively. I guess that’s what they have to do to get more business so I understand.
Also, their prices are slightly better than Dove Spa. I will most likely go back :)
Update: I now go to Trish at Ocean Wave eyelash perming, she is the best and less expensive! Me likey! :)
