I’m quite satisfied with the screen replacement for my Nexus 5. After calling LG and getting a quote for 225+tax and shipping and handling… I was looking at paying 270 bucks just to get a screen replaced. I was initially double minded about getting it replaced for cheaper from a local retailer but I wasn’t disappointed. It was quick and only took an hour long to do. Also saved me around 100 bucks and a lot of time. I recommend this place to people who need the screen on their n5 replaced for a cheaper price. You won’t regret it. I can’t say the same for any other models or phones as they only claimed to have original parts for the nexus 5. All in all, I’m satisfied with my experience.

Had my Nexus 5 screen crack and had these guys replace the screen for $ 190($ 35 cheaper than the place that LG had recommended to). Honestly, I would have preferred to go to the ‘authorized’ location even for $ 35 more, but the other spot didn’t offer while-you-wait-service and insisted that I must ship them the phone even though they were in the GTA(said I won’t be able to drop off the phone). Rather than being without phone for about a week, chose Vision as they were upfront with their pricing and they promised OEM parts. Other shops wanted $ 250-ish. It’s a pretty simple repair but I didn’t want to wait or spend time on the repair myself. My clumsy ape-like fingers are not built for delicate operations like working on a phone. So — just dropped off my phone, said it would take 45 minutes, went for lunch and picked it up afterwards. Only had the phone for a little over a day, but everything seems tip-top. The only issue was that I found that my vibrate wasn’t working while driving home. Drove back to the store and they quickly diagnosed the problem — the vibration motor wasn’t set in all the way, they just had to firmly push it into place. A solid snap and I was on my way. Honestly, not sure if it was OEM parts were indeed used(can’t really tell without opening it up) but everything seems fine. Prices are pretty reasonable considering that a new ‘OEM’ display + digitizer + frame for my phone goes for ~$ 120 — ~$ 200 for the part alone(plus shipping and wait from typical Chinese sellers on eBay) — and you’re still left to question if your part is real or not. Will update if I have any issues down the road — but delivered as promised.
