I feel quite conflicted writing this review. First and foremost, I went to get my lashes done at Xlash after purchasing a deal off of Groupon which was the full set with relash. It was such a great deal but booking an appointment through the online system was annoying to say the least. It was so booked up that the first available spot was a month and a half later… oh well! The day of my appointment was a gloomy and rainy afternoon but the commute was ok. Very convenient as it is a couple steps away from Lawrence station. As I walked up the steps to the second floor of the building where Xlash is located, I was kindly greeted and was told to wait after she scanned my Groupon. The waiting process wasn’t long whatsoever and I was later welcomed by the lady that did my lashes, Sherry. My experience with her was such a pleasant experience as we were chatting up a storm as she was doing my lash extensions. I can’t get over how enlightened I was from our conversation and how comfortable I felt freely speaking with her. She definitely has incredible interpersonal skills! The whole process took merely 30 minutes(which is VERY quick for a full set of 40 mink lashes — clearly I didn’t get 40 lashes per eye, oh well lol). The lashes looked pretty although too natural for my liking. I felt like I only had 20 individual lashes glued onto each eye at most which was probably the reason why the process was so quick. Usually it takes more than an hour at other places that I have been to. The reason why I am so disappointed is the fact that my whole set fell out within 2 weeks. And no, I did not purposely ruin them by rubbing my eyes or doing anything to comprise their longevity. Usually, eyelash extensions are suppose to last up to a month which is usually the case for me. One thing that I did notice was that when the eyelash extensions fell, most of them were not connected to my natural lash which says a lot about the quality of the glue that they use. Perhaps it was the fact that it was slightly drizzling the day of my appointment?! Anyways, they fell out so quickly that I didn’t bother booking my «relash» appointment — I didn’t even have any extensions still on! RECAP: Great experience but disappointed of the longevity of lashes.

I got these lashes as a groupon. The lady who does the lashes is very nice. The place is clean and easy to get to by TTC. I found that a full set of lashes were really not noticeable and within a week they fell out. I went back for a refill and the same thing happened. Luckily it was a Groupon as I won’t be going back. All the other places I have gone have made sure the lashes stay in for at least 5 weeks. In the end this was no deal.

This place is okay, the lady Sherry is very nice and pleasant. But the quality of lashes need a lot of work. I had to go back twice because the first set fell off in one day now I am hoping that this set will not fall off better off doing some research and finding a good place with good lash extensions. Granted this was my first time. But I will take my time and look around for a good place.
Over all okay but customer service is good.
