Zoup is definitely one of the best places to go for gourmet soups. It is on the pricy side however if you are looking for something warm on this cold day, zoup has what you need. I sampled the whole grain chicken and dill, very good and light. I also tried the corn and pepper chowder, creamier but very comforting. I eventually got the fire roasted sundried tomato and it was very good! Try them out

Maybe I’m not a soup connoisseur(actually, I KNOW I’m not — I just lost all of you there didn’t I?) but I really like the lobster bisque here. Listen. I’m Asian and my family brought me up on the premise that one should NEVER have to pay more than a buck or two for liquid food. In fact, I’m slightly afraid to have my dad reading this review for fear that he’s going to have a heart attack after finding out that I paid SEVENWHOLEDOLLARS for soup. When he comes to he will then ramble about how many food court Chinese noodles he can get for that crazy amount of bling and DOYOUKIDSREALIZEHOWEXPENSIVEITIS. But I digress. I personally found that the lobster bisque is very tasty, smooth, and rich in flavour. Granted, it did have lobster chunks in it, but I actually like that. Maybe that’s not the way it’s supposed to be, but I felt it adds more of a «meal» feeling to the dish. Again that’s probably just my Asian genes rebelling(«Soupy things are not meals, therefore some meat inside the soup = actual food!») but I don’t care. It went great with a dash of pepper and some French bread. The service was also very friendly and efficient, plus I love how this stall is never too crowded during office lunch time. I probably won’t get their combo with salad because… water and vegetables for TENBUCKS? Now that’s cray. I’d agree with my dad on this one as I, too, have my limits as to how far I can push this: P
