Dine & Dash

The Dine & Dash is a local institution in the area, and on any given vist, expect to find plenty of locals tucking into a homestyle dish or a nice slice of homemade pie. It’s a comforting sight, to be sure.
The salads, dinners, fish & chips and chowder are all fantastic. In fact, I’d say that the fish & chips are some of the best in the area.
The breakfast (served all day) however, leaves much to be desired. This is my favourite meal of choice at a diner, but my impression of the Dine & Dash breakfast is that they just haven’t tried hard enough. Homefries are from a bag, and are few and far between on the plate. Eggs are fine. Bacon is however delicious — v. crispy!
I love visiting the Dine & Dash for the overall experience. It’s nothin’ fancy, and that’s A-​OK with me. Perhaps someday their homemade dishes will include homemade home fries!
