41st and Granville Esso

Stopped in on my way home from work. Cashed in a one dollar lottery ticket, bought smokes, scratch tickets, and a $ 11 lotto max ticket. The cashier was not pleasant, and couldn’t figure out how to take the dollar I won off my tan. Which was fine no big deal. I paid for it all them stood there for about a minute with him just looking blankly at me. Finally he realized, and gave me my dollar. Got home and just before I went to bed, I realized he never gave me my lottery ticket either. I called in to see if it was there. Explained the exact time I was there and how much I paid for it. The guy on the phone literally said no it’s not here about 2 seconds after I asked. I don’t think he even looked… Anyways horrible place, and even worse customer service. I would give it negative stars if I could.

Came here late at night, and surprisingly it was really busy! There was one guy that was working so there were a few people in line. We just wanted some drinks, and saw that «Tim Hortons» was inside. Surprisingly it is not the full serve Tim Hortons because a few Esso stations had that, but still good enough.
Even when it was busy, the employee kept a smile on his face and positive attitude the whole time. Great customer service!
(They have a car wash station!)

This car wash at West 41^st and Granville used to be the best in town. Not anymore!
Took my sleek sedan through today. Bird crap on the hood and cat prints from the neighbourhood felines doing an «up and over» gave my ride a rough look.
On a sunny day like today, we would have had to circle the block to get into this washer, the lineups would be so long. Not anymore!
Why? Still a couple of paw prints visible on the rear window. And Stella the sleek sedan just isn’t looking sparkly.
Pricey at $ 13.46 for wash only. Payment in store was accepted as if the clerk were doing me a big favour by accepting my cash.
I’ll spend my cash elsewhere.
