Not a good experience at all. Went there to get something for lunch. Way overpriced for a piece of bread with not much in it.

Delicious breakfast egg cheese ham pesto mayo sandwich that didn’t break the bank. My very picky toddler son really loved the ham. There was something special about the ham — delicate yet flavorful –and the cheese was delectable but not overpowering. Wish we had this exact breakfast power-wich in NYC! Great service too!!!

Their veggie sandwich is just awesome. I really like their bread(crunchy french bread) and the way they marinate the veggies. Recommended!

Nice little place. A great sandwich, real pieces of chicken, not processed. It was a decent size and only $ 6 and change incl tax. There’s a larger size for not much more but I wasn’t that hungry. The garage door windows make for a nice place to sit for lunch on a sunny day. And they sell ice cream too! What a combination.

Just tried it for the first time. Can’t believe how good it was and reasonably priced.

Brilliant little Vancouver sandwich shop. Not to be confused with a subway/Quiznos style. Their baguettes are Fresh baked, refreshed in oven on ordering, I would believe it was baked on demand except that the service is too quick for that. Ingredients AAA+, astoundingly fresh lettuces better than I can find at a farmers market. They make their own Pesto Mayo which is somehow perfect for every sandwich it comes on. Rich and full but not overwhelming. Fan since the day they opened. Stop in every time I’m back in Vancouver.

Freshly baked baguettes, amazing toppings and not too expensive. Try it out once and you’ll be back on a weekly basis. Great hangover cure ;)

I love this place!!! I have had several of the baguettes and have found they are all delicious. My favorites are the Genoa and the Bocconcino. I find the service very good for the most part if you come late at night or during lunch you’ll need to wait a bit but it’s worth it.

This place is great! They have tons of choices for sandwiches! Open super late, the guy that was there was by himself but gave such good service I would go back just for him! Ok mostly for the sandwiches… 2 size choices, similar to subway and the prices are cheap! Maybe 50cents more than subway but does not compare at all. Great food, great service, great prices! I will Definitely be coming back for future cravings.

I love it, what else can I say. I always enjoy going to Baguette time and my favorite is Breakfast time. I always get warm welcome from Ali, and he really treat me well. I would go back for sure.

Service was good. Also, sandwich was good. Price was decent. Kicks the crap out of subway, etc. the bread was fresh baked and excellent. Ergo, stars. Four of them. Now go eat a sandwich.

I love baguette time. It’s just a ‘hole in the wall’ sandwich shop but it does what it does well. Rolls are baked fresh, on location and are often still warm when you order them. Staff is friendly and will remember you if you come by a few times. I always order the Turkey Baguette and love the dollop of cranberry sauce that they add– delicious. On a hot summer day I definitely get down on a ‘Screamer’ as well. which is basically half soft-serve ice-cream and half slurpee. Yum! (One star deducted because the interior could use a little bit of a facelift. The atmosphere isn’t quiiiiiite there, even though the food & service is fab.)

Oh Baguette Time — thank god someone introduced this to me early on because this place is where it’s at for sandwiches! House made pesto mayo and premium quality meats and cheeses it what Baguette Time is all about. The Salami with Brie added is my favorite guilty pleasure(not easy on the calories, I’m sure but the palate is happy!). They also have home made salads(pasta and potato) — get there before they are gone. My personal favorite is the pasta — spiral noodles with crunchy celery, peppers and delicious little capers. Mmmmm!

This review isn’t going to be super helpful, since I got to stand outside and wait for the BF while he got a baguette for himself and I got an ice cream. Somebody had to hold onto the dog while the other ordered right? So there I was, melting in the sun draping myself over the counter waiting for my cone. The BF yelled over at me how many scoops I wanted, and since it’s bikini season I only said one… boooo… and the man scooping it up brought it right over to me. You know, sometimes it’s the little things like that that can make an average place seem like a destination. I mean, he could have just handed the cone to the BF and he could have passed it on to me, but he gave me a smile and brought it over. The cone ended up being about $ 4.50 or so, and that waffle cone was packed to the bottom with delicious fruity cheesecake ice cream. It wasn’t your typical one scoop balanced on the top of an empty cone bullshit. The BF loved his baguette, he goes here when I’m not around cuz he likes their sammys so much — can’t say I’ve ever tried one myself, but I’ll surely be back for ice cream, especially when summer is almost over cuz then I can have two scoops again :)

I’m such a fan of their mango chutney chicken sandwich. This spot used to be a revolving door of businesses, but this place has held the fort for about 5 years, so that says something. I don’t get anything besides the mango chutney chicken sandwich, because, well why would I? Toasted baguette, chicken, mayo, lettuce and mango chutney. It’s so friggin good. They also have soft serve in a slurpee, to take you back in the day… when back in the day, actually was back in the day. Great place, great guy that runs it too. Real friendly.

Surprisingly, although I live just a short jot from Baguette Time I had never tried it until today. I was pleasantly pleased by the baguette that I ordered. The bread itself was very fresh and tasty. My baguette had some mayo, bocconcini, balsamic and veggies. It was delicious. A perfect place for a tasty lunch, or a light dinner.

* Better baguette than most spots in Vancouver * Sometimes the simple things in life, if done right, are the best. A really good baguette is one of those. Many of the baguettes around town don’t have a properly crispy crust. I’m not sure why. Perhaps it is the ovens? I don’t know if they have a proper steam oven here or not, but the crust was much better than many others I have had in Vancouver. Oh, and the bread was still warm from being baked — a bonus in my book! Still not on par with baguettes I’ve had in other cities, but for Vancouver a very solid one. The ham & cheese were fine. It came with edam cheese, as well as some pesto mayo. Overall a decent sandwich, with the bread being the highlight.(Perhaps because it was just baked — don’t know how it is at other times of the day, etc.)

Chocolate soft-serve ice cream in a cone? Yes please! I actually haven’t eaten any«baguettes» here, but I have been in a couple of times for their soft-serve ice cream. The chocolate is definitely yummier than the vanilla, but for skeptics, the swirl will give you a taste of both. The ambiance is definitely lacking, but the guys behind the counter are friendly and nice.

Sandwiches with Attitude — that’s their slogan. but I guess the joke’s on me today. I wanted to save some money and decided to use the Entertainment booklet to choose my lunch destination. So when I got to Baguette Time and saw that the management no longer accepts them, I didn’t want to just leave… so I decided to get a baguette anyway… thank goodness it was tasty and toasty. The authetic french baguette gives it a good crunch and the selection is great. I opted to share the chicken baguette which included lettuce, tomato, pesto mayo, and of course — chicken dipped in special sauce. You can get a half or full baguette, and for an extra $ 2.99, you can either get a salad, soup, or drink. The ambience is quite bare, with bright yellow walls. I think I would come back on a hot summer day for some soft serve ice-cream.
