The taste is good, very authentic Chinese food. We always order the Slice Fish with Sichuan peppers in Chili oil. It’s definitely got a kick but the spice is not the kind that lingers. Recommended to those who can handle their spice. Service is decent. Went on weeknight, when it wasn’t too busy. The gent that works there is pretty accommodating. Food prices are a bit higher. Free parking in the back, limited spaces though.

Food came 1.5 hrs after I ordered it, was cold, food was really greasy and expensive for what I got. Would never recommend. Even Sriracha Sauce couldn’t make it better. Was so bad that I actually had to write a review.

Not bad Sichuan food. Quite authentic for a Chinese with experience in Sichuan food, and price reasonable. The taste is not spicy enough but acceptable for most customers. Sometimes the manager can be rude, but that’s how HK people serve.

Decent chinese food near work. Some ups some downs: I thought the shrimp spring rolls were delicious, and so were the hot chili wontons we got! But the kung pao chicken and the beef noodles were kinda sub-par. Convenient for a work lunch, nothing to write home about. I think reading other reviews, You just gotta stick to the sichuan dishes. Dont get anything cantonese or ‘asian’ and you should be fine.

Avoid this restaurant unless you want your day ruined. Saw a promo on dealuse website decoded to try it out. Called to ask if we can use the promo on weekend instead they told us not to buy the promo on the deal site and just pay them directly. When we arrived, instead of having the waitress take our order, she gave us a piece of paper and asked us to write down what we want… which is a bit weird. The food was average with some stale pineapple fried rice and when we were finally ready to pay. They told us that they only take cash but Ive noticed that other tables have paid with credit card before, when confronted they said that for deal site special they can only take cash… The young malen manager or owner with glasses was very rude and doesn’t even bother to serve us just becuz we were using the coupon from dealsite. Thanks for serving us a bad Mothers Day Lunch. Will not come again.

We arrived for dim sum at noon and did not receive our first dish until 12:30. The food was mediocre, some dishes arrived cold, the drinks we ordered never arrived. This restaurant is understaffed.

Definitely one of the better Chinese restaurants close to downtown especially if you like authentic spicy food. They are always willing to modify dishes for me. Service has always been good! Try the spicy boiled fish, one of my favorites!

Overall it’s one of the better Sichuan restaurants in Vancouver, food is great and I recommend the Bejing shredded pork and wraps as well as the sliced fish with Sichuan peppers in hot oil. The prices are good and in general it’s a great place to get some good spicy Chinese food. After eating there on multiple occasions my only complaint is the service, which is often times lacking.

Convenient location, beside Suika and opposite Academic Public House and Earls on Fir. Good lunch menu and choices, authentic Sichuan and Asian fusion cuisine. Private room, 20 seats and Mahjong table and Karaōke very good for social meet ups/entertaining guests.
