Not sure if it’s really«BC’s best coffee», but their latte was definitely decent! The barista was super friendly and helpful, and despite only getting take out, I noticed this place looks really cosy — suitable for study/work on a laptop.

I visited BC Best Coffee a few days ago after a long walk on the seawall. I am very picky when it comes to coffee shops and my personalized drinks. I ordered a London fog, which was made as I wanted — just a bit almond milk and no sugar. This place is big, huge windows, good lighting and lots of seating so you do not have to hear someone else’s conversations. Great place to enjoy a cup of tea/coffee and read a book. The staff is great, friendly and accommodating. I will definitely go back.

I have discovered this place when we rented a temporary office at VIVA towers. While we no longer have an office nearby, I love coming here on the weekends to do some of my work on a computer. There are many reasons why I keep coming back… I am a coffee snob and the dark roast they have is one of the best coffees I have ever drunk. So yes, I am addicted to the coffee they serve. But that is not all. The owners are extremely nice, they remember your name and have very personal approach to all usual clients. The food is excellent, soups are home made and the BC breakfast bagel is delicious as well. We have lost of coffee places in Vancouver, but not enough as good as BC’s Best Coffee.

Fantastic coffee. Take the few extra steps(even if its raining) for a good cup of Joe!

Great little coffee shop down the block from our hotel. A strong cup, with friendly service and reasonable prices. Banana bread a good too.

I saw this reviewed on the front page of Unilocal on April 27th, therefore, book marked it as part of my 100 coffee places in 2015 challenge(see list). Bonus points that they’re open at 7:00 am which is super helpful for yours truly. Sometimes we all need a bit of a morning buzz before the work week. There is ample seating inside which is perfect for homework or working on my zine. The barista was really friendly and chatty, made me feel at home. I got a sugar free almond London Fog to go which was made as ordered. They have a decent assortment of gluten free rolls made with flax.

It has everything I need in a local coffee shop: it’s only one block from where I live, it’s spacious, clean, nicely decorated, music’s okay, never too loud, the owner, Kahlil and his daughter Shabby are warm, friendly and very kind, the coffee’s good, the layout is nice with a couple of single comfy chairs in the back, each with its own table and orchids across from a big fat sofa and coffee table, I can sit there for hours if I want to draw in my sketchbook(though who has the time). My one criticism is the pastries could be a bit fresher but everything else is so good that I’m still giving this place five stars. And please ignore the Starbuck’s that’s about to open on the next block. Independent and local is the best.
