This is where you come to shop if you want something nice and high-end without worrying someone has the same outfit as you lol. Apparently, they’re the only Canadian retailer to carry Issey Miyake’s mens line, according to Kristen, who’s quite friendly and knowledgeable and sure knows his stuff. HE describe them as IM as industrial style, which according to pics, makes some sense. Men’s stuff on the left, quite spacious and great selection. Saw a Moncler bomber-style but not a long cut, didn’t know because it’s the first time this season they made this line: $ 2,100, sweet… As expected, nice belts averaging $ 250. You know it’s a serious retail job when on his biz card, there’s a personal email lol. Try getting that from a mall ;) Amex good.

I knew that this place was expensive coming here, however, was recommended by a friend ’cause I was dress pants hunting that day(see other dress pant hunting reviews), customer service was decent, It was mostly a self serve situation for me. Sadly the pants weren’t too flattering on the hips and were a bit happy and straight cut for a slightly older office demographic. Still stunning clothes none the less.

I love Boboli! It’s full of stunningly gorgeous things! The quality and style of everything is wonderful, and the ladies who help you are warm, welcoming, and gracious. Oh and the sales here are heavenly…

boboli carries some of the more esoteric brands of menswear, including Neil Barrett, Missoni, Etro and more… and they are all spectacular. Worth going to instead your regular haunts for clothing, you will be pleasantly surprised with both the selection and the service. The prices are a tad high, but the quality of the merchandise is exceptional. Would recommend going for their sales rack — with a bit of luck, boboli will provide you with sleek wear that will be worn daily for decades to come and keep you in style.

Update on my most recent visit. Hate to do it but I have to bring it down by a star. They carry one of my fave designers for men’s wear, Pal Zileri. One of the newer(relatively speaking) designers that they are carrying is Neil Barrett. Quite nice stuff! I notice that the selection of ties is not so good of recent. and that it is gotten somewhat limited. The designs are looking a bit dated, or ties for«old men» Still very pricey and I still would only buy on sale. I was almost tempted to buy a shirt by Etro, but I decided it was a little too extravagant for me :(

Boboli is for people with a lot of money who love high fashion and can’t make it to NYC for their annual shopping spree. Ripped out of the pages of Vogue, you can find the latest designers and shapes and cuts that flatter only those of us blessed with minuscule waistlines. You need planning to enjoy this shop, but it’s worth it. Roberto Cavalli, Armani, Stella McCartney and such adorn the racks, walls and shelves. The window displays are also precious if you’re not willing to tempt your wallet and do a walk-in. Think high-end, high-price and high-style.

Boboli stands majestically over South Granville, with its dark façade looming heavily over all the other shops. Encased in this dark jewel box is a mound of treasure and gems in the shape of Stella McCartney’s abstract frocks and the colour Dries Van Noten’s jeweled tones. Hm. this place makes my heart ache. The taste is much more avant-garde than some of the designers who have set up residence downtown.
