Good sandwiches! Tasty little empanada snacks. Lovely people making the food, it’s a small local business.

Delicious! Peruvian potato salad and pulled pork sandwich was unique and amazing. Owner is super friendly and came out to say hello during lunch.

A bit overpriced and the owner seems overwhelmed a lot of the time. The food is okay — not too salty, a nice balance of flavours, the meat was just a bit overcooked, portions are small, and they always seem to close early.

Best chicken mole burrito I’ve had in Canada. Excellent, friendly service. Well worth dropping in for a quick bite.

I have eaten here three times, and every time, the food was flavourful and fresh. The owner clearly takes pride in the quality of her offerings, and is committed to keeping her menu creative, authentic, and delicious. I’ve had a couple of the sandwiches, a jicama salad, and all three types of empanadas. All were delicious.

Friendly and enthusiastic customer service with delicious Latin inspired sandwiches. The «green» chimichurri merken chicken sandwich was the star. It was so refreshing and left the best after-​taste. Love supporting businesses like her’s and would encourage everyone to try this place out at least once.

Overall, I find a surprising lack of decent lunch options in the Broadway/​Granville vicinity, so when I discovered that Boca had recently opened I was excited to give it a try. It is a very small take out shop, with space for 3 to sit at a bar in the window. When I came in I was so hungry I couldn’t even focus to read the menu, so I just asked the owner to give me her most popular item, which turned out to be the roast pork sandwich. The owner was super friendly and chatted to me while my sandwich was grilling. There was no space for me at the bar, so I took it to go. I really really wanted to love the sandwich — and the flavours inside were admittedly good — but I found the actual pork to be very chewy and fatty (like it hadn’t quite cooked long enough) which was unpleasant. At $ 9, it was a bit of a bummer! That being said, with all the great reviews, I’m thinking this must have just been an unfortunate one-​time mistake. I’d still encourage others to give it a try and I’d come back to try some of their other menu items.

Bottom line: EXCELLENT, fresh, flavorful food.
My partner and I stopped in here to grab a quick bite for lunch on Saturday afternoon. We sat at the small stools in the storefront and people-​watched. He ordered the Salvadorian pork alongside the Peruvian potato salad. I ordered the Merken spiced Chilean chicken along with the peanut slaw. We shared the guacamole and chips. AMAZING. Simple. Fresh. Beautiful flavor combinations. The owner, Lynn, was working behind the counter, and was ultra personable and friendly. Will definitely be back next time we are in town!

I keep coming back to this place for lunch, particularly for the Arroz con Pollo (rice with chicken) with a little Mole on the side. Delicious! The burrito is delicious as well. It feels like home cooking in the best way possible. Deliciously spiced (light and packed with flavour), filling and healthy. The chicken is apparently locally sourced. And the staff are super friendly. My new favourite lunch spot.

A great new addition to the area. Their sandwiches are simple and flavorful ! They have food inspired by different latin countries. There is a good selection of salads too. the sandwiches are betweeb $ 8-​$ 10. The service is also great — they walk you through the menu and also give out great suggestions.
They can also make sandwiches vegetarian for you upon request.

That was one of the best sandwiches I have EVER had.
The super knowledgeable chef walked us through all of the amazing sounding options– making it REALLY hard to choose… We ended up going with the Green Pollo and the vegetarian– and they were both AMAZING.
Perfectly balanced flavours, super fresh ingredients and the staff were awesome.

Simple yet delicious Latin inspired sandwiches. I’ve only tried the Merken Spiced Chilean Chicken with green chimichurri, every time I’m here because I can’t tear myself away from it, it’s that good. Piled with fresh cilantro, braised-​like chicken drizzled in chimichurri — all inside a tasty brioche-​style bun. Need I say more?

I’ve stopped in twice for their Puerco en chicha (Salvadorian roast pork) sandwich. Both times it’s been delicious!!! The proprietor is lovely and very friendly. I will be back again. There is a small window bar for a few people to sit and eat at but I get my food to go.
