One of the few water parks that is open in June. Most don’t open until July. It’s big and accommodating for both little and big kids. It’s a pretty popular spot but you can always find parking and isn’t overcrowded like Granville Island or Stanley Park. It’s in a nice residential neighbourhood with a water park, playground and baseball diamond. There are also bathrooms, picnic tables, and water fountain onsite. Great place for a picnic, to enjoy a sunny day, or to bring your family and dogs.

While the park is great I have an issue with the safety aspect for smaller children on some of the play equipment that is obviously aimed at smaller children. There is no proper steps up to the little kid slide just ladders and too many spaces for little ones to to fall out. The base is small rocks not sand and my 21 month old kept telling me he had rocks in his shoes which did not make for an over fun experience. There is a rickety bridge walk but nothing really to hold on to as they cross it,(smaller kids) Overall the park is great, but toddlers maybe not the best park in the area.

This is my little oasis from home. It’s a relatively large neighbourhood park on the very far west side of Vancouver. It’s possibly the only waterpark for kids this far west. Complete with picnic tables, bbq if you want, ball diamond and soccer field. Lots of trees for shady areas. I like this park for the waterpark in the summer. No crowds and no where near as crazy busy as Stanley Park, Kits Beach. Parking is easy on the side streets next to the park.
