I gave you another chance, yes I did!
I walked in with my mother one evening and I didn’t get acknowledged, nor did my mother. Not a hi, hello, how you doing or do you need some help.
Nothing.
We walked passed the two associates working; a younger Asian female and a taller man with a beard and glasses, and not even a word was uttered. The man waited on some woman trying on a backpack and then the woman came to help her, well linger around her as well. Two bloody people for a *potential* backpack sale???
Interesting.
Peculiar.
I am flabbergasted as to how employees don’t realize how much a «do you need some help» or «just tell me if you need anything» can go.
The man gave me a smile when I was leaving. Thanks dude, thanks for that when I leave. I won’t be back, even though that gold banana bowl was utterly amazing.

Designhouse used to be located in Yaletown before relocating to this Homer location.
My hubby and I absolutely love the furniture here. They are modern style which we fits our design philosophy.
The furniture is more on the higher end of prices but you can see the quality and the uniqueness of these furniture. Some of their stuff can be custom made as well. Just check with the sales guy at the store.
We’ve bought dining chairs and counter stools here and the service we received was perfect. I can’t remember the sales guy’s name but he is so knowledgeable and was willing to answer all the questions we had. I think he is there most of the time, with glasses and beard.
One of our favourite furniture store to browse in.

The website is great. They have a beautiful in-​house custom line of furniture, as well as other great lines like bluedot. From the first email, to visiting the shop, to delivery of my new furniture, I found them professional, helpful & patient. I love the Marimekko line of products and the various unique gift items.
