I wish I was told about this place when I first went to UBC!
Tis a big money saver for your «regular» types of textbooks required for class. Not so good for the upper level ones or the more obscure topics like Clinical Neuroanatomy. I am not a huge fan of the layout nor the return policy… but I love getting books for a cheaper price compared to the UBC bookstore. So far I have found the same books here at a lower price than the official store 100% of the time.
I am sure those nasty publishing companies are still making huge profits off us students, but I like to think it hurts them a little bit if I pay less. It’s a nice fantasy! At least I have a few dollars left over for The Pit.
