I found the Fazakas Gallery looking for incredible Beau Dick pieces; incredible works of art is what I found and so much more!
Acquiring art from LaTiesha Fazakas was a process unlike any I have ever experienced. The first time I visited the Gallery LaTiesha enthusiastically shared fascinating stories about the artist and their work, one artist in particular Beau Dick, we talked for many hours. During our conversations it was obvious she has great passion for the art along with cultivating personal relationships with each artist showcased in her Gallery. I did not find the perfect piece for me that day, but I did find the perfect Gallery to do business with in the future. It is very important to me as a collector of First Nations art to find a Gallery that not only holds beautiful pieces by influential leaders of Canadian Aboriginal People but also educates visitors on the culture and gives back to the First Nations people, I feel LaTiesha’s Gallery does all that and more.
I have been working with the Fazakas Gallery for several years now and in that time acquired two AMAZING works of art through LaTiesha. Words cannot describe the emotions I feel every time I gaze upon the powerful pieces, thank you so much LaTiesha for understanding my needs and making it possible to own my dreams!
