Very stingy on portions despite charging $ 9.99 for noodles plus 2 items(especially compared to other chinese takeout places in the area). Sesame chicken had no flavour and too much batter to meat ratio, vegetables were either overcooked or close to raw(how they did this I have no idea). Disappointed with my lunch today.

AVOIDATALLCOSTS! This is the one negative review I’ve given thus far on Unilocal. You have fake Chinese food ran like a typical Chinatown Chinese restaurant: — RUDE service — BAD food — UNMATCHED pricing. You’re paying more when you can get better Chinese food for the same price in a restaurant DT. The people running the store are a Joke! It’ll close in 1 year time guaranteed. The food chow mien is tasteless. The orange chicken was over battered. The vegetables were not fresh and worse, soggy. I would give it 0 stars if I could.

I always walk by & hear them shouting specials around closing time. Today’s special was $ 4.99 per box, around ½ an hour before mall closing. At a glance the food didn’t look so bad, so I figured, why not? I’m not a fan of Americanized Chinese fast food, but some are actually ok. I figured, how wrong can you go with some simple fried noodles, chicken, and spicy tofu? Well, the answer is: Very wrong! The food was drenched in oil. The chicken pieces were cold & rock hard. Tofu was dripping with grease & extremely spicy. Everything was extremely salty. Suffice it to say, that was $ 5 straight to the garbage bin.

super rude service! ordered two meals to go, asked if they could mark/label them so i would know which is which. the guy who served me didn’t understand me at all. and then there was the rude lady who started yelling at me as if i owed her a living. food are not the greatest. small portion and oily. by the way, the rude lady threw a pen, told me to label them myself and mutterred unpleasant words. I paid and left feeling so demoralized. don’t think i will be coming back anytime soon again. should have checked Unilocal before hand!!!

Bad bad bad! The customer service is so terrible that I would never go back if they even offered free food. I ordered the lunch special today, the plate looked like a disaster and when I asked for more rice, 4 Asian ladies yelled at me and told me that I can’t change he lunch special. Heck it says so right on the poster its rice OR noodles! They are mean, throw your stuff around, and they even tried to charge the lady behind me for a cup of water. Stay away!

Not good. Tried two different dishes at different times and was disappointed both times. Cheap food though, but I’m giving it a pass. Oh, and the people at the counter are very rude.

Avoid this place at all cost. Their food is either too blend or too salty and on top of that they always try to charge you more by «mistake». Even dare to lie to you in your face. I just bought one noodle plus one item so i picked up horribly blend rice noodle and too salty chicken then the lady said«do you want to add vegies? It is same price. «so of course i said yes please but then the price was 9.99 instead of 6.99 so i asked but she was like ohh mistake. Yeah… Right… ppl usually dont check what they are paying very carefully and they are taking advantage. Oh boy… Chinese food places…

I can’t believe I didn’t check Unilocal first. Reviews are spot on. The people are super rude. The food was not good. I barely ate the noodles. They were gross. It had such a weird taste. The veggies were so salty. They were gross and I think they gave me a headache. Because I was starving, I did eat the orange chicken. It was sorta palatable. Terrible choice on my part. Terrible food on their part.

If you’re looking for cheap this is the place. Not the best in the food court, however, at least to some degree I can tell what I am eating. Customer service was okay. Cash only.

Unfortunately, I feel that very few people will see this, because who looks up food court restaurants in Unilocal? If you are one of those people, then read on dearest reader in search of crappy chinese food. This used to be a quick go-to for lunch since my office is close, but I took a break from food-court fare while I was getting back in shape. However, with a busy couple of weeks at work, my stomach had more than once felt the siren-call of Flaming Wok, and I, unfortunately, obliged it with little time to find fresher fare. Maybe it’s that I’m used to eating healthier, but the last two times I’ve eaten there, I’ve felt physically ill afterwords. Heavy, greasy, and probably, most definitely full of MSG. Not only that, the place is pretty much a moral hot-bed of insanity and panic at lunch time. It’s not the customers in line that are the problem– it’s the employees. They yell off what seems to be a programmed bunch of lines in rapid fire sucession that’ll make your head spin faster than Linda Blair’s– «Try our sesame chicken»(which, by the by, has declined in quality to be sure. Don’t pay for it.) «For here or to go» «Rice or noodles» «What you want on it?» Don’t be fooled, they’re not listening a word to what you want. I went in for sesame chicken(when I still had the hopes that the first time it tasted bad had been a fluke), prawns and greenbeans, but somehow came out with chicken, beef, and zuchini(which all had an odd chemical taste). They were zooming my to-go box so quickly down the line ahead of me, I didn’t even have a chance to say the word«No» before they scooped what looked like something from a «Goosebumps» episode– if you’re a ’90’s kid, you’ll know which one I’m talking about– into my box and blasted me with their usual egg-roll for $ 1 line. My meal was $ 11.45. $ 11-freaking-45. For that much, walk 2 blocks to Next Noodle and order something fresh, delicious, and not likely to make you puke or turn you into a mutant plant-child.

I see these f___g Pirates got only one star(*) on Unilocal. It just so happens, there food court grease is not half bad… if youre paying in cash. We were reviewing our MC statement this month and noticed a double billing from FLAMINGWOK in PACIFICCENTERFOODCOURT. It occurred to me that there was a POS transaction error which required me to re enter my MC info @ the POS. This has happened a few times here come to think of it… DONOTGETFOOLEDBYTHEIRCHICKENSAMPLES! Youre being investigated FLAMINGWOK! What a terrible waste of good grease and the best food court real estate. There is a Jugo Juice right next to them. Save yourself the cholesterol reading and piece of mind you wont get robbed and eat there instead!

I don’t know why, but my husband comes here regularly. So over the past year, I’ve thought that he comes here with someone because there have been double charges on our credit card bills — which I found a bit odd, since who takes their colleague or clients to a loud food court? Well, I decided to ask my husband today and in our conversation, I learnt that my husband is indeed not as cheap as I think — he does NOT take his secret girlfriend(just kidding), or colleagues here for lunch and only eats here when he’s in a rush on his own. But he DID tell me that their card machine is often broken because they tell him that his credit card did not go through the first time and they have him do it twice. Well, I’m not sure if I can dispute it now, given that my husband did swipe his card twice, but damn them for being so sketchy. Hubby is now forbidden from going there ever again and I hope that you BEWARE of this place! I am going to rate this place as moderately expensive since it cost $ 22 for lunch.

If you’ve never overpaid to be treated like crap by a bunch of jerks, check this place out. It’s lightning quick through the line and, if you’re lucky, they’ll listen to what you want. I wasn’t so lucky today, but maybe next time. The food is great when you compare it to leftover McCain pizza left out overnight. I’d like to say its an experience you’ll never forget, but you will. And that’s why you’ll go back.

There should be an option for 0 stars Don’t come here ever. Very rude service and bad food. I went here for lunch and got the typical sesame chicken. I don’t see any sesame in the chicken. I only took a couple bites and could not finish so I asked the lady nicely for a take out plate and plastic bag. She said no and she’s busy with her customers. WTF! I am one of her customers and had the receipt to prove it to her. She still said no. Never going back again.

Great food, horrible service. The food you receive from Flaming Wok tastes great, but that’s not the problem. The problem is their customer service. I went there to order some food and as I was telling them what I wanted they started putting all sorts of different food onto my dish. «Spring roll, $ 1 each» I said«no, I don’t want any spring rolls». She gave me one. She then called me over to pay. I took out my credit card and was about to give it to her when she placed the card scanner in front of me and left. So I entered my card, put in my pin, took my own receipt, and left. So yeah, the food is great; fantastic even. But I will never go back due to the supremely horrible service. I will also add that I know a few people that have gone there and came back with half of what they really wanted.
