Might be the wrong place, but the 1st review’s description and the location fits… but I thought it was called ’24 Train Express’ says on menu. Anyways, great takeout place for soups, Phở & noodles. Bun Bo Hue is good.

This place is cheap and tasty! Some really good Asian food can be found here. I had a dish with vermicelli, minced pork, shrimp and a spring roll for $ 8.50. It was really good. The décor is old, and like someone else mentioned it is kind of like the 80’s. It’s kind of like any of the phở places you’d find around East Vancouver around Kingsway except it’s on West Broadway. The lady that took my order was friendly and there were plenty of tables. It’s a great place to catch a good meal on the cheap in this part of town.

Giant signs proclaiming how good the food is? Check! Typical Vietnamese Resto Insane 80’s Décor in a one year old joint? Check! XL Phở big enough to bathe a baby in?*(*Must Supply Own Baby, Season to Taste) Check! This place hits all my buttons for great Phở, not cheap on rare beef, brisket, tripe, tendons or noodles. Broth is pretty mild and not too fatty is my only complaint. The fried rolls are really really good and come in a colour that I am not sure is natural in nature. Yes the interior is wild 80’s fever dream, but the service is great and the menu is vast, which I intend to explore more. The trough of XL Phở is only $ 8.95! Nice to have another good Phở place downtown.
