Excellent kalbi short ribs! Had them tonight and they were a winner! About $ 2 per piece or so? Try it out, it’s worthwhile!

Lots of choices for sliced meat for hot pot. Nicely done and packaged. Every time I go I buy almost one of everything because it’s not easy to find this type of quality in the city.

I love this place. When I hold a hot pot night, it’s here that I get the meat. Great options for a great price. The shop is small when you walk in, but there are more options that you think. There are plenty of parking spaces when you plan to go to this store. There is a side«underground» parking. I say«underground» cause it’s one of those parking lots that are off to the side and the lower level of a building complex area. I felt a little sketchy parking down there once but to be honest it was fine.

Make sure you have space in your fridge and freezer before coming here… One less star for not having smaller pack in 1lb size. I came in to pick up some sliced beef for stir fry, etc and ended up with more. I purchased: Beef Top Blade(Flat Iron) sliced pack in 2 lbs pkg at $ 6.99/lb Beef Shank at $ 5.49/lb Beef Brisket at $ 5.99/lb I love how clean all the meats are so you really don’t have to spend time taking out all the extra stuff. They have tons of goodies in the freezer. Usually pack in 4lbs and 6 lbs, my fave is the marinated beef short ribs but I ran out of space this trip. Will pick up more next trip when my fridge and freezer is empty.

Whenever I host hotpot, I usually go here for the meat. It’s much cheaper than going to T&T or any other shops. This place is about half the price of those other places, even when not of sale. If Han Kook has a sale, its even better. The quality of meat is great. They have fresh meat and also frozen, if you just to stock up on some meat. It is a little hidden if you’ve never been there as it’s in a small strip mall on Kingsway. If you need regular meat for hotpot, I recommend this place. For fish balls, fish tofu, etc, then you’ll need to go elsewhere as this is a meat shop.

Best prices for high quality meats. Since finding out about this place online I always buy my hot pot meat from here only. I trust Korean meats 100%. The place is super clean, organized and doesnt smell bad the way other shops can. It is a bit hidden in the plaza on kingsway. It is in between Ramengers and Cattle Café.

Been coming here for well over 10 years. I love their kalbi(marinated beef short rib). I usually get 1 or 2 frozen packs of it per visit since I live on the westside of Vancouver. I literally drive all the way from False Creek to go pick these puppies up. Their kalbi is very well marinated and super tasty. I’ve managed to get a few friends hooked on their kalbi too! A must have.

Hot Pot prep day review. This is one butcher shop that all Asians in town should know about! It’s rare that I’ll want to openly give 5 stars out, but it won’t give this place any justice if I dish out anything less! For all the hotpot, BBQ, and meat lovers out there, this place is for you. Great quality meats at a fraction of the cost. The owners of this place is Korean owned and definitely know why people come to visit them. Each item on their freezer is clearly labeled what it is and what it is great for. A large portion of the store is targeted towards people that need meats for hot pot or shabu shabu, the other portion is for BBQ and everyday cooking. What makes this place absolutely stand out is that you can easily afford enough food for an entire party of people without breaking your wallet. As a major meat lover when it comes to hot potting and grilling, this place is absolute gold! So before you decide to go to any western supermarket or even T&T, please swing by here first!

Hankook is hands down the best butcher I’ve been too especially when it comes to Korean-style meats. I went there on the weekend and got 1 kg slices rib-eye beef for bulgogi 1 kg marinated LA Galbi 1 kg samgyeopsal(pork belly) It was all great quality and slice very nicely. The staff were very helpful with advice on which cuts to get. I was originally going to get thinner sliced meats but when I said I was BBQing, they suggested a thicker cut. It worked out great, everything was delicious and I will definitely be going back for more.
