Haven is not only a boutique clothing store, it is one of the city’s best places to find one-off and extremely well made items for dudes. From accessories to jewellery to toques, this is the place to look for attire that is sleek and unique. I heard about Haven through a collaboration they completed with Vancouver’s popular Lattimer Gallery. Working with a Northwest Coast First Nations artist that Lattimer Gallery represents, Haven’s Maple brand designed a cool set of rings and cuffs for the hipster lumberjacks of Western Canada. Many people probably enter Haven and become intimidated by the prices, because they are higher than the Bay or Urban Outfitters. These people need to pause, take some time to look through the curated and undeniably hip selection on display, and acknowledge that Haven provides both imported and local items that will elevate one’s wardrobe to the next level. Plus, the customer service is friendly and unpretentious.

One of the coolest hidden gems in Vancouver as this place stocks Japanese imported street wear, therefore, expect to pay the price as such. Customer service was friendly.

Long time Haven supporter both at the old Vancouver spot and online. Love so much of what they carry… Maiden Noir, Head Porter Plus, Wings+Horns, Reigning Champ, NBHD, WTaps, and now Visvim!
Stopped by the new store this past Tuesday (April 22) looking for a new pair of eyeglass frames. There was a really nice pair of U E frames on the site so I thought I would see if they maybe had them in stock at this location.
Walked in to the water st location for the first time (very cool space, bigger selection than the previous store). Was greeted by the dude behind the counter, and was told «be right with you.» After which allowing my fiancée and I to walk around for 10 minutes without even bothering to help us. Walked out without seeing what I was looking for.
Pretty bummed on the customer service. I have spent thousands of dollars at this store in the past, was prepared to drop another 600 that day.
