Hycroft Suites

Good size self contained unit in great location.
We were in the Monaco suite but noise from ‘homeless’ Lexus driving family of 6 upstairs was a disturbance due to hearing every footstep thundering over our heads.
This would be a 5 star review if not for the noise factor. But this review should recommend Hycroft so long as there are not defensive and rude tenants in the unit above. Hopefully that was just an anomaly.
The Hycroft Suites are fantastic for a visit to Vancouver. Centrally located to South Granville and South Cambie. Free parking, a home away from home. We had a hire car, so it was easy for us to go anywhere and not have to deal with the traffic/​parking issues of the downtown core. Walking distance from Granville Island, albeit a bit of a hike, but if you are a keen walker it’s no worries.
Randy was attentive when we had issues of a smoke alarm needing a replacement battery and that our initial entry code to the electronic lock was emailed incorrectly. He was on to it quickly.
Overall: great accommodation in superb locale. Self catering easy with the kitchenette, private parking. Would definitely recommend. Max’s Deli nearby for a bagel with lox. Yum yum.
