Location is amazing. Staff are friendly. Lineups take too long and prices have gone up too much. A wrap that was $ 6.50 is now $ 8.00. No way I’m gonna pay $ 8.00 for a pre made wrap.

I am in love with this small and unique coffee shop. I am so happy to have a jj bean in my neighbourhood! JJ Bean has the best coffee & the nicest baristas in Yaletown. Thank you for being awesome!!!

Out of all the JJs I have been to, this place makes the most consistent and awesome drip coffee. Hats off to them.

A frequent stop on my way to work, this little walk-up coffee shack is excellent. Really nice people and the JJ Bean product is consistently great all over town. Outdoor seating only but we’re Vancouverites so we do everything outdoors anyway \:D/

While I am a fan on JJ Bean in general I avoid this location. Almost always out of sandwiches. Stuff takes forever too, both in terms of the lineup and food/beverage waiting time. Highly recommend you check out JJ bean, just at a different location as this one is extremely poorly managed.

I simply LOVE this lil JJ Bean coffee green house… They’re is a roof garden and it’s between a nice ”waterfall”. Right on Hamilton st pretty close to Triple O’s as well ;)… Super nice staffs! Whammy location and a lots of baked good to choose from. Outdoor setting. It’s a tiny outdoor space but it’s nice to sit down and chill… A lil piece of paradise next doors to BC Place and right in my playground!

The best example of a walk-through window in town. All the goodness of JJ Bean in an off-street open café. If food trucks parked for good, this would be the result. The line moves quickly and the team behind the counter is efficient and hard working during the morning rush. There’s lots of seating available around the steps leading from the street, on the grassy areas, but only on a nice day. I sometimes want to specify that my order is «to go», but I’d probably be groaned at.

I used to go here every morning and until I noticed my drink being made more and more poorly. I brought it back to have it remade a few times but each time it was made equally as bad. I took a little jj bean break because I just ended up throwing my money away but thought that I’d give it a shot today as it has been a couple months since I’ve been. Unfortunately nothing has changed my drink tastes almost like nothing and is watery and just plain disgusting I won’t drink it and they were out of everything except for a few types of muffins. I definetely won’t be giving them another shot probably every. Severely dissapointed yet again.

Great coffee and friendly staff. As a regular they make a point of not just knowing my name but actually making conversation. Heat lights at the hut in the winter and a great patio in the summer.

Good coffee and their mocha is delish! Wish they had an indoor location so tourists like me can enjoy their delicious coffee and people watch comfortably.

What else new to say about JJ Bean… but for those looking to find a place to sit down & gossip w/yr bud, it’s not going to happen here, only sit down is in the summer when those patio chairs come out. And it may be hard to find, as it’s perched up above the ground, beside the CBC building, lucky them. Or unlucky, gonna cost a fortune after a month haha.

Found this place right near where I was working and between the coffee and the pastries I made the trip here every morning and sometimes more to top up on Java. Currently my fav new find in Vancouver.

If you like quality bar drinks at a decent price and at your convenience, JJ is a great place to go. It’s quick and easy like a Starbucks, but better quality. I will always go to JJ over Blenz or Starbucks!

Thumbs up all the way! Great four-shot latte pulled me out of this dreary wet morning and propelled me to work, my employer thankful for the temporary boost in productivity. It was helped by the friendly and efficient gals who work this coffee bar. They bake fresh and tasty treats that accompany perfectly their brew, like their surprisingly good cheese-jalapeño muffins. It ain’t cheese and wine pairing, but it’s a good pair all the same. P. S. This place has it, the coffeehouse magic. Whether from the good-humoured staff, the smell of freshly baked goods, the funkiness: it all adds up to that indescribable, but palpable vibe that makes you feel good in that place. And it’s just a take-out!

This is the best JJ Bean location because it is 2 steps away from home. The staff here are the nicest and they remember everyone’s names. During the summer they set up tables and chairs where you can sit out in the open and CBC has performers playing music in the afternoon. JJ brews some of the best coffee in town. They don’t have a wide selection of fancy coffees but they’ve got the best pastry cabinet. My favorite is the chocolate zucchini muffin, you have to try it; it’s delicious. The only downside to this location is that it closes early, 4pm on weekdays, and doesn’t open on weekends.

I go out of my way every day to get my morning Americano here and often a muffin too. It’s the best coffee shop in the area if you like a quality bar drink. The people working there make an effort to remember everyone’s name and drinks. It’s exactly the kind of service anyone could want. Especially for a big city where«hey how are you?» often really means«hi I’m pretending to be friendly for a tip but please don’t give more than a one word answer.» If I were to offer any improvements it would be for their seating area. Some shelter and more comfortable chairs would be brilliant. It rains a lot…

An urban coffee oasis– a wood cabin vibe, a green roof, grass to sit on and great coffee nestled among tall buildings-what’s not to like?

You can’t go wrong with this location on the sunny days we’ve been having. This JJ’s might be my favourite hang out in the sunshine, and I hope that the summer will bring some outdoor performances at the CBC outdoor stage next door. Aside from that, great coffee(did I really need to say that?) and great friendly service.

An outdoor JJ at its best, comes complete with grass growing on the roof. This JJ Bean 1st is a stand alone almost curb side modern work of art. Located next to the brand new CBC building that corners West Georgia & Hamilton St. Plenty of outdoor only seating for those who need a fix while at the public library across the street, I can see this little piece of magic will be a crowd pleaser. it offers all the same treats as the other JJ Beans, including that famous and so euro tasting espresso coffee.
