Joli Cakes

Christine makes cakes that are as delicious as they are beautiful! She has helped me make a red velvet baby shower cake (baby blue fondant with cut out clouds and little hot air balloons), a green tea birthday cake (pale green buttercream with fondant flowers) and a slew of ferociously cute lion cake pops, which were favours at a baby shower. I wish I could attach photos from my phone for everyone to see!
Christine is imaginative, talented and will bake you a sweet special something to ooh and aww about!

Christine is truly talented! I first noticed her amazing treats when she was posting cake pops — they caught my eye because they were the cutest designs! Then I noticed she was making cakes and I couldn’t resist asking her if she would make my wedding cake. We discussed the design elements (lace trim) and colours (my husband’s favorite colour is orange and mine is pink) — and from there on I had only my imagination of what it would look like on the big day. I knew it was going to be beautiful, but was it ever!!! Not only was the cake a delicious chocolate with hazelnut cream — it was absolutely stunning and elegant. I loved how Christine incorporated both colours onto the cream fondant cake, where she placed the flowers, the lace trim and the ribbon! Fantastic!!! I couldn’t be more thrilled.
