This place was alright. I support the fact that it is run by a greek husband-wife couple(or at least that’s what it looked like) the rice was really good. The hummus and pitas were good. I was wondering about the cucumbers in the greek salad: some of the cucumbers they seemed old and slimy??? I avoided the one I found. My lamb souvlakia was a bit undercooked, and therefore chewy. Is it supposed to be like that? Last time when I went to Kalamata Taverna down the road, the lamb was amazing melt-in-your-mouth. The overall experience was good. But I wouldn’t rush back to this place.

I must credit this restaurant for giving me faith in lamb. You see I don’t really enjoy the taste of lamb and in my quest to eat everything I’ve been forcing myself to try it to develop a taste for it. This was the place that changed my mind and made me more open to it. Their slow roasted lamb was tasty and surprisingly not«lamby» at all. Which for someone like me is hard to come by. At no fault to them, it was such a large portion however it did add up and I just couldn’t finish it. The service was decent although a little detached. I came here with family and I must say I was a certainly amused, when my dad ordered a sprite. I proceeded to witness our waitress leave the restaurant and walk next door to the corner market. Then watch her come back a few minutes later with a 2 liter Sprite in hand. A few moments after that she arrived at our table with a glass full of Sprite that we were charged $ 2.50 or so for. I know I’m getting ripped off on ordering soda at a restaurant, but seriously that doesn’t mean I need to see it happening before my eyes. Other than that the food was delicious and we all generally had a good meal here. The atmosphere is like any other typical Greek restaurant.
