I actually walked by this a few times in the past ’cause from the outside it does not look like a bakery at all, however, inside is a different story. I came in here for some party pastries for a pic nic before visiting my best friend at the record store. Prices were cheap enough that I bought more than I came for. Customer service was awesome and the store was well organized.

* Latest egg tart quest installment *
This is a very small unassuming little bakery in a little strip mall that contains a 7 – 11 and a bubble tea shop.
It is a bit disorganized inside, but the couple that runs it were friendly.
I tried out the egg tart. It was room temperature, but other than that little drawback this was one of the better egg tarts I’ve had in the Vancouver area. The crust was really flaky and the custard was nice and eggy. I would love to see what these taste like fresh out of the oven. But based on how empty the place was I don’t think there is a high chance of finding a freshly baked batch sadly.
But that aside, this is still one of the better ones I’ve found — and in such an unexpected place!
